Ah , that reminds me when there was someone making a lot of spammy posts and no mods were around. One eventually came and banned the moron. Also reminds me when another time, no mods were online and koreaman was around. Those two mixed together make it a lot of madness in the General forum.

Which time are you talking about? I've seen that happend four times since the summer started.

Two of those times, I was the one who notified the moderators who banned the crap out of the spammers.

What I'm talking about is events when they made atleast 10 to 15 threads and spammed in each other thread that ever was on the first page in the General forum section.

Those two examples was not close in any way. What I'm talking about took a very long time for the moderators to clean up after when they got back online.

The sad thing is though, my favorite part of the forums is the Wi/Ht? section - it's always friendly people there, never any obscene posts etc. - however, sometimes, I find it's only me browsing the forum.

The problem with General is that crackdown on sex related topics is limited. I once asked a mod about this, and they simply replied that they don't allow obscene posts (like perverted pics, hentai... etc.) but they allow people to talk about it, as that's some of the things 13 year old boys are interested in...

I think it is basically telling mods what they should be doing and acting like a mod yourself. This would include saying that someone should be banned or a topic be locked/deleted. See this thread for more details.

If you tell someone that they should be banned/they will be banned/their thread will be locked/they are breaking the rules.

You can leave the mods to do that, your post doesn't add to the topic at all, and it doesnt bring the post to the mods attention.

Yup, and it's very unnessecary to write it because if they will get banned then they will get banned whether you say so or not, through posting that someone will be banned or that something will be locked only keep the thread alive which is something we don't want.

Ah - recently especially, I see mods modding this place rather well - Ramagi and Avie both handle anything that pops up here pretty quick - I think I've even seen Newgrundling stop here once or twice as well.

Yeah, these kind of "clubs" can sometimes get too many over a day, especially as some of those moderators who visit the Clubs & Crews forum section tend to forget to do so sometimes.
