In every huge thread that I visit, I make it a strict ritual of reading the first few pages. Most of the large threads in this forum are mostly clear-cut as to what they are about, and surprisingly, they stick to the original topic quite well.
An exception to the usually clear-cut topics in this thread are my Versus thread (which has undergone some major changes since it's creation) and this thread, the Level Up Lounge (which was called just "Level up!" back in the day). This topic is not only the only topic that has gotten around the "no stat topics allowed" rule, but seems to now be a lounge for the regulars of this forum.

Unfortunately, if you try to do that in the larger threads in Clubs&Crews, the original purpose can sometimes get lost in the mix.

The only reason for that is because it was made long before the "no stat topics" rule. But then there's the fact that by the time that rule was implemented, this was used as more of a lounge than an "OMG POST UR STATS HEER" topic.

I've always liked the phrase "we're grandfathered in" as some would say. Much like when I passed my boating licence test when I was 14 and then a few months later there was a new rule stating you had to be 16 to get your boating licence, but I didn't have to be because I was grandfathered in. I got pulled over a few times due to looking and being under 16, I always liked showing them the card I had saying I made it before the rule.

Grandfathered in does sound more professional and dignified. I like it better for that reason.

3. No more boxing gloves.

Terrific news on my part today. For some unexplained reason, i tried to fix my computer big time, and it paid off. Im so fucking happy again :) I have Firefox back, my games can be played, my aim is up and running, and all i need now is to plug in my webcam and i'll be drunk before you can say "You have a golden ticket Charlie" :D

Sounds good except the part about getting your webcam fixed, maybe you should just keep that part of your computer turned off, for the good of all man...
