I think this level is ugly, I can't wait to get rid of it.

I am 1/3 of the way to 100k B/P i have hit the mark of 33,333 B/P

You know, when the redesign dropped (in 2007, which in internet time is like a gazillion years ago now), I HATED level 36.

Maybe it's the fact that the yellow aura makes every level look so much better, or perhaps I've just mellowed out with age (lol), but it really doesn't seem so bad to me now. In fact, I'm looking forward to getting it more than I'm looking forward to getting level 35 in 3-4 days.

Maybe the fluffy part of the tomahawk coupled with the fab aura is just making the icon as a whole too girly? ;P

Oh yeah, true. Seems to be more and more bitching going on nowadays. I remember recently there was some discussion going on again in our government that people might get fined if they put music videos from youtube on their profile pages (like on facebook, myspace etc.). Luckily not many people supported that plan though, but I can see it happening in the future.

Really, I think the artists like when their music is spread like that. It's more fame for them, more people will appreciate their music. That's why independent labels (like Domino [Franz Ferdinand, Dirty Projectors...]) are great - they don't really mind about that.

I agree though that laws like that might not even be beneficial to most bands. Especially the newer ones who are already having trouble with advertising themselves. And the bigger artists make enough money already, so it's not like they need it all that much =/

I guess as a band you just gotta ask yourself what you find more important; money or the fact that your music might be listened to all over the world for the next few decades.

Genesis is a pretty confusing band I guess. I think I must know some of their songs, but they could be from Peter Gabriel's or Phil Collins' solo-careers as well.

They have great songs, though. Really, give "Invisible Touch" a listen. :)

Snowy White is one of the other guitarists, the oldest one I think. And someone once wrote that he could be considered the sixth Pink Floyd member. He used to tour with Pink Floyd occasionally and now he tours with Roger Waters. I thought he was with them on the Animals tour and it could be that he even did some of the guitars on that album.

Ah, alright then. I read that he was playing with Pink Floyd during the Wall tour as well as recording some guitar parts in some albums. Weird, I've never heard of him before.

I believe it had something to do with the idolizing of certain people by their fans. And I believe the Nazi leader scene is supposed to be an actual performance (since Pink is a musician in the movie), but seen through the eyes of Pink. He just sees himself as some... monster who's not much better than a Nazi.

I guess it might be a warning for how dangerous idolizing could be. Also it might be a reference to Roger Waters personal view on himself and his fans at some point (since the movie has lots of auto-biographic elements actually). It's still kinda vague I know, but I remember I read something like that once.

Well... I know a lot of people who are big fans of Muse, but for some reason I have never liked them all that much. I think it's mostly because of their singer (Matt Bellamy?). I just think he sounds very whiney.

Yup, that would be Matthew Bellamy.

And yeah, his singing sometimes is weird. In Supermassive Black Hole, he sings in falsetto, but it isn't very good. Although I really like Muse, their songs are so full of energy! :)

Perhaps I should just give them another chance someday. I already listened to their latest album (Origin of Symmetry) not too long ago. Didn't like it much, but maybe I will like their earlier albums more.

I can't remember which one it was now but the one you played had the Warehouse map without the snow. You can try the Alpha & Omega one (something like that anyway) and see how it goes for you.

Also, I hate NO HEROES for their reservation slots bullshit and the event spam they do to everyone who's in their Steam group.

I don't like them because I have a regular 180 ping and yet they kick me (MAX 150). I play on servers where my ping is up to 230 and no one has ever complained! >:(

150 is too low. I get slightly less than that when playing with them. 200 is a more reasonable limit.

I don't know, but it would be a nice little addition. It's not really needed because you can always just search at the bottom of the BBS, but it would be convenient to have it show up right on your userpage as well so you didn't have to search through a sea of names.

And yeah, our police isn't the best. It's kinda corrupt, they take bribes easily, it's either unprepared or shooting everyone... It's a mess.

Sure. One of the reasons it's being watched worldwide in the movie theatres is that it can't be watched at home. I mean, not everyone has 3-D glasses, and I think it can't be recorded with a regular camera, if you know what I mean. No piracy allowed. =)

Not really - he and my mom travelled to a store which was holding a clothing fair. My mom had been wanting a leather jacket for a while, and she found one there. My dad like it as well and bought one for him too. I've never seen him wearing it afterwards, though. :P

I've heard that Lilly Allen was holding a "resistance" again pirated music. There was an organization that wanted to make free music more accessible, "legal"... the problem was that there were only older, richer artists in that organization, who didn't need money at all. She gave up eventually, but not because of lack of support.

Well, in the Wall tour, they actually built a wall in the stage during the concert, splitting the band from the crowd. Roger Waters was being rejected by the other band member, due to him being... a "Nazi" in the studios. :P

Actually, their latest album is "The Resistance", and indeed it isn't very good. Give a listen to "Absolution" and "Origin of Symmetry" (if you haven't), they are the best albums, IMO.

Oh god please don't remind me. I seem to get roughly 1000 B/P per month (I should get a lot more blams but so much rubbish makes it through) so I've probably got another couple of years before I need to worry about that +4,500 gap. I don't even know for sure where it goes up to +2,000 and honestly I'm happier not knowing. Ignorance is bliss.
On the plus side I realised that I'll still have another stat to boast about in a few days when I hit 7,000 EXP.

Sure. One of the reasons it's being watched worldwide in the movie theatres is that it can't be watched at home. I mean, not everyone has 3-D glasses, and I think it can't be recorded with a regular camera, if you know what I mean. No piracy allowed. =)

I heard that with some 3D movies they provide 3D glasses with the DVD's though. But I heard the quality of those glasses was just terrible, and it just doesn't work that well. I suppose they might also come up with a 2D version, which I would have preferred in the cinema, but like I said I don't think it will be that amazing on a small screen.

I agree though that laws like that might not even be beneficial to most bands. Especially the newer ones who are already having trouble with advertising themselves. And the bigger artists make enough money already, so it's not like they need it all that much =/

Actually, their latest album is "The Resistance", and indeed it isn't very good. Give a listen to "Absolution" and "Origin of Symmetry" (if you haven't), they are the best albums, IMO.

I get about that many B/P in a month as well, maybe a little less. I'm planning on reaching that huge gap until the end of the year, I have about 7,000 B/P left to go until EGSC... And yeah, there's a lot of blammable stuff that passes, but I'm used with that.

Indeed. The problem in football is that the time keeps running, so when it's about 30min into the second half, the winning team might suffer a collective pain or similar. Time passes and the losing team gets even more nervous.

Yeah, we once rented a movie that came with a 3D option + a pair of glasses. We didn't try it, though, but I I think it would have looked a bit choppy on our TV.

And yeah, those 3D glasses aren't the best invention ever. I had several headaches during the film, where I had to take the glasses off and rest my view for a few seconds. Although I think they won't release a "regular" version for it, though. It's up to the movie staff.

I think so, her music was being more downloaded than bought, I believe.

She gave up due to many people "attacking" her blog, harassing her (you mercenary etc...) and such. I think Muse was supporting her as well, something like "if we want you to download our music like that, we would make it available for you. Since we didn't, then don't do it!".

I would have stopped depositing Toohot100 at the sledgehammer and then Bahamut7 at level 16.

I'm still not too sure where my alts will stop depositing. Level 39 is a good level to stop, but it's still far away. Maybe I should let one stop at the awesomeblade. :P
