Well, to stop them uploading this crap can't you say put on the bottom of the Flash submission page, something telling them there is no point in uploading a SWF to Newgrounds.com when you could use Imageshack.com instead or you can even test the Preloader offline with Flash MX (with a popup link to instruction)?

We have this on Retrogade and it is really enjoyable. You wanna say something to a user and thearen't on aim or something put it there or if you just want to have some plainold fun. Also to be able to block a user from posting on yours is a nice feature.

Excuse me, but, seriously, um... have we ever spoken before, I know you're a mod and that's about it, I don't know where this is coming from, what did I do? Heres a problem that i think should be delt with... I remember when i had audio when i'd go to repsond to reviews there was no back button to the main menu and i just now realize that that should be something that is added cause it would be better than closing out and re-opening the window...

You deposit exp., then not only does it tell you how much to what ever level you have to get to but it tells you who you passed and who's still ahead of you. One or more, in each direction.

My idea is to update the Under Judgement voting one last time. While it is completely neccessary to prevent the score from being seen for the first 199/149/99 votes of an Under Judgement movie, the 200th/150th/100th vote(s) should get the benefit of seeing a score. I think just yesterday I got the blam movie twice, and thought it would be nice to see what the score was when I blammed it without having to go to the obituaries and check myself. Just a small perk I thought would be nice.

Also: Since the picture attachment size has been updated, I'd been thinking about a couple possibilities. Perhaps upping the signature size as well? I've always liked the idea of being able to have a larger signature dimension-wise, and the only real effect I can think of would be an overall longer page size, which is variable from thread to thread anyway. Filesize could remain the same, and I was thinking something along the lines of 100 x 500 for a signature size.

Another related thing to consider would be some way of making the uploadable picture able to be moved within the text box. Nothing major, just a little so that text could be added after the picture.

My final idea goes back to the portal and Under Judgement voting. I don't know if people still copy/paste their vote results into reviews while reviewing UJ movies, but in order to curb that you could consider making the "You gave this entry a [number], if this entry is [blammed/saved] you'll get a [blam/protection] point!" a picture, instead of text. It'd be much easier to do now that you don't show the variable of the score on UJ entries.

And now for something NOT IDEA RELATED: Glad to see Denvish is cleaning up this thread still, the couple pages of chatter was annoying. :-)

Just have it show how much power our voting power has.

Your original post was fine. It was the subsequent five or six, that weren't suggesting new ideas, that I had a problem with. There's really no point debating or defending your suggestion - if liljim thinks it's a good one, then he'll implement it, or add it to his endless list of 'things to do'.

I know a lot of people are unhappy about not seeing the score change, but at the end of the day, you should be confident enough in what you give the entry without having to see what the score is after you've voted on under judgement entries... That's my argument anyway. Thanks for the idea.

By the way, I'm not dismissing any of the ideas prior to this one and I do still read everything in here. I'm not ignoring any of you - Denvish and I will probably put together another "done, maybe, not ever in my lifetime" list of ideas once he feels this thread has done its course and opens another one.

Hmm, it really doesn't make any difference if you change what the first vote says, they're still going to know the score of the flash is based on what they voted...

I Also would appreciate this feature and I would like to see more statistics I find not enough I would like to see A top 400 for blam also and perhaps a top 400 voting power I realize NG had some of these before but they just caused problems and Someone is supposed to be working on them but im also wondering is this idea noted and can I expect a date it will be avaliable Ramagis top 400 exp

Why not show more than just flash on the front page? Why not expand? I know there are ads and what-not, but why not put "today's best audio" like the audio portal?

When submitting a flash, you have the ability to give credit to as many audio portal submissions as you'd like, but you can only list a single newgrounds account. There should most defidently be another sub-credit where you can list all of the voice actors, and even link to their ng accounts.

Its not fair that voice actors get abysmal credit in flash submissions here. You can list them within the flashes credits, but that is too little recognition. You can put them in co-author, but that is too much considering the flash author himself put an extremely larger and longer effort into the project. Both of these are extreme ends of a spectrum, we really need a middle ground so users who spend time voice acting for submissions can be recognized before watching the flash itself.

Due to a question in the Wi/Ht forums i thought i might bring this up... In the faqs (found here ), i noticed there wasnt a section on Vp... I think that a section on Vp may help out a little bit... After all there is a section on stickers why not vp?

If posting in ALL CAPS against the rules, why not just de-cap all caps posts? You do that with topic subjects, why not do it with posts, to reduce the amount of people posting in all caps?

One more thing, we can't search for topics under 3 characters, yet there are some topics that have titles under 3 characters...am I right?

There wouldn't be a real way to differentiate between all the mods. Currently, the only place mods are visible is on the forum. Rather than make pretty colors on the lists, I'd like to see a full list of all the mods for the separate functions placed on a page. Forum, Audio, Review, and Icon mods, with respective emails. If it hasn't been done already, and I missed something. :P

By now, people should know better. It's in the rules. Writing code to prevent all caps is sort of redundant to the rules and well...

I asked this in the last thread. Four characters is the lowest threshhold liljim wants to have in place. You can use Google to search for 3 character terms. :)
