You know what I really miss, which probably a lot of other people do? I miss Misty and Brock. Like, seriously, without them the show's not nearly as good. And I can't stand the new guys in the anime. Call me a genwunner if you want, but I had a serious crush on Misty as a kid.

In case anyone was wondering, yup, I got my White & Black 2 games & my 3DS XL for my b-day! Uuuuuunfortunately, my friggin' router decided to be an ass & wouldn't allow me to set up a connection for it while also simultaneously fucking up the connection I had on my DSi. So yeah, no Genesect. :/ But that's ok; I've been having so much fun between these 2 games that I'm already over it. Hopefully I can get the damn router working again soon, though, so I don't miss anything else......

Has anyone picked up a copy of B2/W2? If so can you tell me if it's even worth it? I've bought at least one copy of every release since the origial Kanto games (Even though I've lost my Yellow and Crystal...). But I know B2/W2 are essentially the third special game that comes out with every new generation, but, is a copy of say B2 worth my $35?

Nah, my favourite generation has to be 3rd, you know, the Mudkip gen.

...Not because of Mudkips though, I just really liked the pokemon and how those games played. I definitely put the most hours into my Ruby over all of my other pokemon games.

God I wish I hadn't lost it.... Fucking traveling..

Anyway, I've thoroughly enjoyed the most recent generations too. I haven't seen much of a real "decline" in the quality of the games over the years really, just a decline in my effort put into them.. :/

Yeah, that Generation was okay. Playing Ruby and Sapphire back in the day was great. I put most of my hours in Gold and Silver, about a good 400 hours until the memory fried. :(

That happened to my friend's pokemon Yellow. He had pretty much every pokemon you could catch without trading, so his pokedex was about 90% full, then the memory fried and he just randomly started losing his team, and stored pokemon.. It was actually really depressing when some of his top pokemon disappeared.

Damn, I feel bad for your friend and all his hard earned work going to shit. I know I would be pissed off if I worked that hard on any Pokemon game. Speaking of the Pokemon games, Ive been playing Blue as of late. The really old school blue. Hahaha. I made it up to the gym leader Misty.
