Yes it is. It's very easy to have a team ready as you just choose the Pokemon and the movesets, items, abilities, EVs, shiny or not.

Geez, I know exactly what that's like. I bought Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story through Play-Asia so I could get it within a decent amount of time, rather than months later.

Probably won't do that with HG/SS though, since the wifi events and such will probably be tied to what region of the game you have.

I bet you're all wondering (or not) where I went, after I had just said I was getting a DS finally; well, I had decided not to post until I got the thing in my hot little hands. Now I have. ^_^ AND IT'S FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!

I got a DSi, as I already have a GBA, and if I ever absolutely want a certain Pokemon with 3rd-gen moves, I'll just get a cheapo DS Classic/Lite later for that purpose (and when my GBA finally falls completely apart).

Also got Platinum, obviously. Damn, I feel old just seeing how far this franchise's games have come since the beginning. -_-

After playing Platinum for a few days, I've come to one conclusion: Barry needs some fucking Ritalin. He's the only character in a Pokemon game so far that makes me want to reach through the screen & smack him in the head about 20-30 times.

Things are still going a tad slow for me on the catching side; I did snag a Modest Abra with what looks to be 31 Sp. Atk EVs, though. (At least, that's according to Metalkid's IV Calculator.)

Hi guys, I'm back from my long-term no posting at here. Sorry for not posting for a long time,
my friends and told me I was too old for pokemon, so I didn't play pokemon or post here
for almost a month.But I did start playing pokemon again 2 weeks ago.

I spent all that time training a new pokemon I transported from Emerald.

Hmm, interesting choice. The whole Poison Heal/Facade/Poison Heal combo should work quite nicely. I believe Breloom can learn Spore, which might be a useful option instead of Stun Spore, what with its 100 accuracy. Though, Stone Edge is good for covering Flying and Fire types, who are two of Breloom's biggest weaknesses.

Actually Breloom can't learn Spore via level up, but Shroomish can learn it at lvl.45.
So I can probably get spore, but I'm still thinking which is better.

They did say that I'm too old for Pokemon, but in a sincere, good advice kind of way.
What they said did change the way I thought of Pokemon.

For Example:
BEFORE
1.)I always watched the Pokemon anime, I even got angry if I missed an episode.
2.)I always tried to convince my mom to buy me the manga and the merchandise.
3.)I play the video games every weekend.
NOW
1.)I don't like watching it that much anymore, I don't even care if I miss one.
2.)I don't like Pokemon books and merchandise anymore, now I'm into Wildlife!
3.)I STILL play the video games every weekend.

P.S. Actually, some of my friends and I tease each other for fun.
And usually, Pokemon gets thrown into the mix.

Same with me - except I've been wanting the manga; actually, it's the most 'adult' outlet the franchise has. Still a little pissed it isn't available in the States anymore... >:( But yes, the anime gets outgrown after a while.

Ugh, really? That tends to make things a bit unbalanced, with the one Uber decimating the rest of the standards, so it basically comes down to an Uber vs Uber battle. I prefer completely standard level battles, but I can deal with the single Uber if you really want to.
