Have you all forgotten that Mario games go on sale on MAR10 day? So no that statement is not correct. Yes, a lot of Nintendo games don’t go on sale often or at all, but they do put Mario games on sale for MAR10 and once Super Mario Bros’s 40th Anniversary comes around, there will be some temporary price drops for Mario games.

Yeah and then retailers do their own sales at times. Like most first party Switch games here have dropped to 54€ from the original 60€ and that is a permanent price drop in thosw stores. Then from time to time I see them at 40€ or so.

Did you guys know that Nintendo used to re-release their top selling games for $20? Not $20 off a regular $60 pricetag. Not $20 but only during the week of Mar10 day. Just $20. In the very least they could've put Mario Kart and Odyssey on sale for Mar10 Day. Sheeeeesh.

See that is the worst fear I have, but I imagine that it will bite them in the ass and lower. Apparently Switch 2 is being lowered to like $436 on Amazon. Still pricey but the prices won't be sustainable long term, esp considering the budget of these games and it'll be more for less.
