Tuesday Surprise
We’ve been working on a new feature that, if all goes well, will premiere this Tuesday and become a weekly event every Tuesday moving forward. It’s intended to increase our Supporter numbers but in a fun way that people will hopefully enjoy. Whether you’re a Supporter or not, check in on Tuesday to have a look! It will probably launch mid-day, then in the future it will start every Tuesday morning at 12am EST.
We also have more “invisible overhauls” that could be rolling out this week, as NG continues to make advancements under the hood.
LordSpew on Adult Swim
@LordSpew has a new series being tested on Adult Swim’s YouTube channel. Give it a watch and you might help launch it into the next phase!
LordSpew has also recently posted a backlog of works on NG, including the original Fisthead episode that had to be pulled during a development deal.
LordSpew attended the University of the Arts in Philly, alongside artists like @Topcatyo. UArts closed this year which was a big downer for the Philly animation scene, so it’s nice to see things like this happening for local artists!
On the topic of animation schools, we love seeing your student films here on Newgrounds. If you share a film made for school, be sure to include relevant tags like student-film or thesis-film, as I try to put together an annual round-up of films. You can also tag your entry with your university name and provide additional details in the author commentary space.
