I mean, write one, few, some, all or whatever videogames you want a lot to be remastered or remade!

New qol additions like skip cut scenes (that intro) and skip dialogue (the game often repeats itself)

A physical (the og game costs an arm and a leg but the cover looks so sexy)

Chibi Robo Clean Sweep with gyro would be something to behold too (the game uses the touch screen on DS for precise shit like hitting an outlet across a room), just the same qol additions with maybe an auto sieve bc god that got tiring quick spinning it around for minutes on end collecting gems.

A duology pack of these two for Switch, that has a physical and I'm fucking sold.

Park Patrol, Photo Finder and Zip Lash suck dick compared to these two imo.

To add to my shizo rant, I heard somewhere that the lead dev for Chibi Robo wanted to do something with the francise again iirc (take that with a grain of salt) and the director of Advanced Wars Reboot Camp wanted to remake obscure games Kuru Kuru Kururin (has a switch port) Rhythm Heaven, Wario Ware (still kicking) or Chibi Robo next.

well I don’t really know I was thinking of like a remaster of Bioshock but then it is already very good as it is maybe it doesn’t need a remaster but it should not be forgotten it is a great game

Even if there's Ghost Story Games, i can hope that there could be a sequel or something, but that depends to the developers!

I don’t really need game remasters, even if the game is old it’s still going to be good. Unless it becomes completely incompatible with modern systems.

My problems with a lot of remasters is they go beyond what they really should. A lot of remasters look way too clean. The recent Super Mario RPG remaster looks great! The Spyro Trilogy remaster loses some of its charm. The technical limitations back then made it to where you had to make games look great within those limits. Now the sky's the limit.

My biggest gripes with remasters (and people online making fan made remasters) is they believe they have access to better lighting for their games so they should use it. Trouble is they abuse it.

With that being said, a part of me would love to see the original Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64 remastered or even Pokemon Snap. Another part of me feels it would be ruined.

Indeed fan remasters are often glitchy or something, but there's many cool fangames and awesome videos out there, also it depends to the developers if they want to make a Remastered!

Isn't the point of a remastered game is smooth over a lot of the rough edges it had for whatever reason? It kind of defeats the purpose of a remaster if you retain the jank and flaws of the old game and put it into the remaster, people are going to see through it quickly.

Having said that, I honestly can't really think of too much if mostly because it's been done. But if I had to pick one, I would like the first two Saints Row games deserve a remaster. (It probably wouldn't happen because Voilition isn't around anymore)

now answering the topic, since i bothered to use the aforementioned feature:

I'd say Ristar, Crusader of Centy or Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. mostly for their OSTs (and maybe make FFMQ less hated too, if possible)

not sure how a Ristar remake would work though. the art and sound were already good (specially for the day) and if that game was made 3D i can imagine several planets being a real pain to deal with (specially the ice boss) unless the 3D was in-visuals only, but that kind of design feels a bit pointless to me.

and people would probably acuse Crusader of being an Undertale rip off, despide being a WAY older game...

and maybe sell some CDs of those games' OSTs
