Fantishow's first animation Health Class might need some assistance from Ruffle to get it going again?

Problem: Black screen: Doesn't load
as far as I know these work with Ruffle
Adding the emulation string to the URL doesn't seem to do anything - the Ruffle loading screen doesn't appear. In the page source I couldn't find an SWF, only a zip file. Is there any other way to play or does the developer need to fix it?
See my news post with medal hunting links and tools. I made a program NGMedals that finds your statistics and unearned medals.
There is also a browser script.

I'm checking with the devs to see if there's a chance that could work again in the future. It will likely need Ruffle support but because it's uploaded as a ZIP with it's own HTML, that HTML would need to be updated to integrate Ruffle.
Several more Flash games I noticed working:
4 Differences (Just remembered mentioning it prior)
Fear Less!
YFYIAR (You Find Yourself In A Room)
BNKR
Foxglove (This game was rough when Flash was still supported - navigation works strangely towards the beginning unless you click a specific door. Probably is works-as-intended)
Some of SilverStitch's well-known games worked when I tested them months ago:
Samantha Wins
Colour My Heart
Colour My Fate
There are two games that technically work:
K.O.L.M. 2 does not fully work because it uses a specific unimplemented feature to do, at mininum, character respawning.
Digital Upgrade - Decoded doesn't clear particle effects. That lowers visibility, meaning I have not tested many features in that game.

I'm enabling Ruffle on most of these! The pages might take a bit to refresh to reflect the change.
I've left Fear Less, Samantha Wins, and KOLM 2 alone because they have medals that aren't supported yet in AS3 for Ruffle. I've made a note on my list to enable those once AS3 medals are working.
I've also left Digital Upgrade - Decoded alone but I think it's the issue that Madness Accelerant has where Tricky's glowing fire effect doesn't clean itself up and instead builds on itself on each frame. I've made a note to retest Decoded when Madness Accelerant starts working as expected.
Ok.

this weekend, I found a few working games:
no problems at all (I even got a medal from one of them! :D):
avoidable problems or extremelly low (~10FPS) framerate as the only problem (at least on my end):
>DON'T click on "help" while in-game and it'll be all good:
>Others:
Sandbox (5~40 FPS, depending on moving particles on-screen and the presence of spawners)
The Forest Temple (~20 FPS, ~10 when moving both protags at once)
Alter (< 10 FPS)
Haunt the House (< 10 FPS)
Pixel Purge (< 10 FPS, bestiary goes to black screen)
Diamond Hollow (< 10 FPS, sound is broken)
Pixel Legions (< 10 FPS, flickering menus)
Freezes, dramatic frame drops and/or unreliable controls:
This is not minimalist (starts slowish, then slows down to the single-digits framerates when the background particles start to fall while talking to the 4th NPC)
K.O.L.M. (keys get sticky after a while, making the controls unreliable. for me it started on the room with the jump component)
Adventure Story (game froze after I opened a chest after a few screens, speech bubbles are too white/opaque to read the text, sound is broken, everything was running almost smoothly prior to the freeze)
Epic Battle Fantasy 3 (battle interfance won't respond, can't attack/flee/use items nor magic)
Bubble Tanks TD (freezes after a few waves in tutorial, can't upgrade towers)
also, those games give an error to be repported on github, but I don't have a github, so someone else will have to report those:
The Everloom (error shows up after hitting play and watching intro)
rest of the test list with entries that didn't work for me (waterfox) in case someone with chromium wants to try them and some entries that were in my old test list of things that didn't work before at all, but are now working somewhat (I didn't notice arcuz was already on ruffle, my bad) here.

Why doesn't Ruffle work for me? It says that it failed to load the .wasm thing. For example for Journeys of Reemus

do you have the browser addon? if so, disabling it may fix it. if not, what is your browser and your operating system?

Some cool news, after today's update, Fracuum by @Glaiel-Gamer is working in Ruffle:
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/594354/format/flash?emulate=flash
I haven't switched it over however because the medals won't work. Once Ruffle has support for our AS3 API, there's a handful of games I'll be able to switch over!

sick!
has some significant performance issues if you go backwards into hard mode btw but I assume that will all get resolved soon too
I've been going through my list of "Movies that don't work in Ruffle" and it has gotten pretty short! Here is what I have:
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/332435/format/flash?emulate=flash - Carrot Juice, starting to work
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/532672/format/flash?emulate=flash - Map buttons work on first visit to map but don't work on return visits.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/559439/format/flash?emulate=flash - White screen, bunch of errors.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/557720/format/flash?emulate=flash - NG Logo in the intro is missing glow effects. There are a bunch of entries with this intro but I'm using this one to track for when it starts working.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/562372/format/flash?emulate=flash - Radial Gradient renders as solid circle.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/526229/format/flash?emulate=flash - Sun glow is a gradient fill, in Ruffle it's a solid white circle
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/548682/format/flash?emulate=flash - Loads files from off-site, unlikely to ever work again unless files are hosted on a CORS-compliant site.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/530612/format/flash?emulate=flash - "WHIPE" play button has white text on white background with glow filter that isn't supporter yet.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/577017/format/flash?emulate=flash - The text 'Every single hour in Clocktopia, a peggey is violently abused' is cut off at 'a peggey is', so the 'violently abused' part isn't visible.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/556254/format/flash?emulate=flash - Botton left should have a loading progress % followed by a Play button.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/575026/format/flash?emulate=flash - Play button doesn't work
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/578350/format/flash?emulate=flash - White Screen, probably needs glow filter.
Glow filters are getting close I think and will knock a number of these off the list. If you're aware of any other Flash movies that aren't working properly, let me know! Otherwise, we're close to essentially all of the movies on NG working with Ruffle.

Did this crash for you? It appears to be working for me and has Ruffle enabled on NG already.
Also for any future items, you can just post the link to the NG view page and note any specific errors that are happening.
I think I've mentioned this before, we really need a dedicated ruffle button.
I'm tired of constantly going here to copy paste the "/format/flash?emulate=flash" to whatever I want to test.
I know it's a nit pick, and I could just save the URL somewhere, but how hard would it be to have an option of "try with ruffle" under a game?

This would definitely be handy, making note.

This does feel overdue at this point, we could also link to this thread so people who test games could note them here.

Went on a nostalgia run of a bunch of Hyptosis's point n click games. Among them, working perfectly fine in Ruffle but not having it on by default, were Alice is Dead 2 (https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/524348) and Kingdom of Liars 1 (https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/601977). Kingdom of Liars 3 has a moment where the text gets cut off in Ruffle so that one's not quite there yet and I think Stonepath has something similar. He's done more point n click games so there'll probably be another post after I go through the rest where I confirm or deny whether Stonepath's working or no.

Some more games I watch for Ruffle support have improved or are completely playable:
Home Story: 1971, Liquid Measure 3, Liquid Measure 3 Poison, and Liquid Measure Crystal works
Tread carefully with William and Sly 2. The game works but suffers from major performance issues:
Ripple Dot Zero, A Small Talk (At the Back of Beyond), and William and Sly have progressed. Ripple Dot Zero gets to the menu, but throws an in-game load error upon starting a level, seemingly because of a CORS issue with the website that stores the levels. With A Small Talk, The mechanics seem to work, but the text does not scroll obscuring all but the first few prompts. William and Sly gets to the menu, but I have not gotten it to start a game.
Something missed previously:
Like Nevermore 3's preloader, you must progress a frame to get past Polygonal Fury's "a dog in a lake game" screen. Its main menu works, but you cannot start levels.

Ruffle is what Newgrounds is using to run Flash content in the browser, without the Flash plugin. Over time, more and more content will be supported.
You can use this thread to report Flash content that is ready to run with Ruffle, or to report content that has already been switched to Ruffle but has bugs. Please be specific about what the bugs are.
To test existing content with Ruffle, add this to the content URL:
/format/flash?emulate=flash
For example:
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/578559/format/flash?emulate=flash
That link will attempt to run the movie with Ruffe, however Ruffle doesn't support AS3 yet so it throws an error. This movie isn't ready to be switched over yet.
I have created two spreadsheets to track content that doesn't work:
Movies Not Working in Ruffle
Games Not Working in Ruffle
At the moment I am NOT logging games made with AS3; we will be ignoring them until AS3 support is further along. The goal at the moment is to find issues with AS2 games, in particular any game uploaded before June 27, 2006. We also want to find any AS2 games that were released after AS3 was introduced.
Since we'll be attempting to run ALL movies with Ruffle, I'm logging any movie that doesn't work - this includes ones that get AS3 errors.
If you're down to create new, larger thumbnails along the way, you can also participate in the Thumbnail Crew!

I've turned on Ruffle for these games now! The pages might need a moment to update the server cache.
Tread carefully with William and Sly 2. The game works but suffers from major performance issues:
Was excited to see William and Sly 2 running the other week but agree, the performance issues have kept me from turning Ruffle on just yet.
Ok.

In the meantime, this submission works with Ruffle https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/497472
