Gap Monsters is back up and running today!
IIThis has text/dialogue disappeared in so many places. It looks like thIl <-- Text box perimeter to describe the QA testing bug.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/510880?emulate=flash
There also seems to be a problem with the reaction timing of the battle system, starting from the very first minute of gameplay right in the opening. Furthermore, it appears like there's a speech bubble there too, but it's empty as in yet again, text/dialogue that's disappeared.
The same developer had also made this game way back then too and saving the game wouldn't work at all for me, so... it shouldn't now, even if it's a hacked mod to get your power level over 9000!
Maybe the save files vanished in the days of Flash and now with the long gone Flash player, text in the other game because the developer went without a trace?

Even on NG Player I cannot get it to load.
Even back when it was new, people can't seem to get it to load, and that's why it won Turd of the Week.

not quite, the video was loading for everyone through January 2002 up to April of the same year, and then it went dead, because the user either deleted their content and now the empty flash file is hiding behind the ruffle logo, OR there is an issue with the ruffle player and the flash is still there
soooo... im asking the peoples who are capable of doing so and who frequent this board to attempt the file in the newgrounds player or to see the file size to see if the file is still there or not

Ruffle has been making progress with filters and tonight's update got Glow working!
This movie was just a white screen without the glow filter:
Crunchdown had hidden menu buttons that now show up:
Symphonic Tower Defense is working and the fancy NG tank logo is rendering!
This movie had a hidden play button because it was white text on a white background with a glow filter:
The sun glow and other effects in this movie are now working correctly:
Same with the sun in this movie:
Fade is now working properly, with everything visible:
Last Stand Union City might be good to go now, anyone want to test more thoroughly?

help forums have a few threads asking this question. if i recall correctly, you have to hit Tab (in case your keyboard didn't label it, it's the key between Caps Lock and number 1, letmost corner) until you can select "allow", and then hit Enter.
as far as I know, this thread is meant for ruffle only, not for newgrounds player (which uses flash).

-------- unrelated to the post I'm replying to, but related to this thread:

I noticed a few entries that work on a standalone flash projector, but not on NG player nor ruffle. not sure if this fact would make a difference in getting those entries to work on ruffle, but I'll list them here for now:
(loading bar doesn't turn into the "play" button)
(not working on ruffle yet, but closing the tutorial on NG player gets the game stuck)
(not working on ruffle yet, but doesn't work on NG player)
there's another one, but I couldn't find it...

Wondering if this one is due to a reliance on the Kongregate API, which isn't loading due to an incorrect CORS policy on their site. Flash player gets around that because it's not as strict as modern web browsers. Not sure about the others!

I know it's (mostly) unrelated, but how's that ruffle button coming up?
Still waiting for it......

There's a ticket for it that might get addressed during a spring (now summer) cleaning phase after the big Art Portal update. If it doesn't happen then, Ruffle might end up just being turned on for all games before we get there.
Uber Breakout II fails to start, giving the following error message:
You have flash 3.
Flash 8 is needed to play this game.
By my guess, this is an error in the game's version detection - tricking the game into thinking its running on Flash 8 should fix this.

I get the same error in NG Player so it's not just a Ruffle thing. Wonder if Jiggmin would have any interesting in making an update.
Hey! Been going through my favourite games list to see what does and doesn't work. Apologies if any of these have been mentioned here already, here's my input
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/553308 LARRY: Pup Run
Works totally fine, zero issues to report :D
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/567740 Cripple Cannon
Again absolutely fine for me!
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/706807 Do you know De Wae
Also all good :D
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/705878 It's Just TIC TAC TOE
This works perfectly ok; a little slow in places, sure future Ruffle updates will address that, otherwise totally playable.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/713813 It's Just TIC TAC TWO
Same as above. It mainly seems to be when there's a lot of moving graphics on screen. Otherwise fine
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/567439 Upgrade Complete 2
Almost totally fine. The only thing is that 3d mode doesn't work, just seems to move the player's ship up the screen without the 90's 3D effect. This is only very minor complaint though, the rest of the game is completely ok.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/547783 Death Row Diner
Doesn't work at all. Screen goes black and clicking it only links to Adult Swim Games
Will try more when I can, just thought I'd give a few for you wonderful people to look at!

Thank you, I've enabled Ruffle on the working games now! They might take a moment to update on the front-end.
I turned on Mobile for the Tic Tac Toe games. If you test any games that can be played completely with the mouse and you think they would work on mobile, you can note that too.

Unfortunately, achievements in Fade are still broken. The colors started working via a nightly Ruffle update from days, if not a week or two
Obversity works now.
Will check some other games within an hour.

Thanks Tom! I played both Tic Tac Toe games on my mobile. They worked ok but were slow, definitely slower than browser, especially when there was lots of moving graphics. Again I'm sure that's something that will improve with future Ruffle updates. Otherwise they were playable and functional. I'm using an Android mobile if that's relevant.
No doubt I'll drop in here again from time to time, interested to see how this all progresses :D
Quick testing log: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/636847
Main menu loaded fine, but the game temporarily froze upon clicking "Tutorial Missions".
The game itself is effectively unplayable, as the screen is massively offset to the top-left.
