i been using the player for a while now but it recently wont work now and keeps telling me that
"The wizard was interrupted before Adobe flash 32 ActiveX could be completely installed"
"Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run set up again."
i cant figure out what it means some help will be appreciated.

Like set the clock on your computer back to before January 11th.
Nothing else? then i have to stay with the wrong date?
You can set it back when your done, It works with Newgrounds Flash Player. Once you're done you can put your computer's date back to the usual time.
I umm...have a problem. I don't have Flash & it's already too late to get it.
Mine is not working either - I am receiving a pop-up to update adobe flash, then Windows checking updates, informs me, that I have the latest version and... Done - nothing happen later. When I try to launch it again, the circle repeats.

I already uninstalled flash player how can i do now?
Getting this error as well. Opening the player itself from my directory and clicking yes on this popup gives me the same as previous users:
windows then prompts me that the program may not have installed correctly, allowing it to go through the compatibility fix or not yields the same result - looping back to the first error without the prompt from windows I just mentioned.

Try downloading the current version of NG Player and doing a fresh install. Let me know if it's still not working afterwards. Older versions would have had the killswitch, if that is what is happening now.
Also if Windows prompts you to uninstall Flash, be sure to click No. The player needs the Flash runtime to be installed.

I think they updated the Newgrounds player, so that the flash wouldn't be blocked. I just deleted mine and downloaded the new version.

NG Player was updated a month or two ago to avoid the killswitch, then updated again a week ago due to a second potential killswitch.
Hi, I know this was a long time ago, but there seems to be a new issue with the player. anytime I try to load a game that runs on it, I just get a popup that says "Flash is not installed. Newgrounds player requires the Adobe Flash plugin. Do you want to install it now?" and when I click yes, nothing happens. I've seen people suggest setting the system clock to 2020, but when I do that the game window doesn't even pop up.

I downloaded 1.0.7 from the downloads page but once installed it says it's 1.0.6. So where can I get 1.0.7?
hello there, i wanted to tell everyone about the problem im having cuz it seems different (btw sorry if i say or do anything stupid. ım verry new to the website and i created my account yesterday. so yah srry)
when i looked into the files it looked normal but there was a missing one. the instal flash 34x something one. and whenever i tried to open the player it just showed a blank screen and nothing happend even when i had a games window open. (sorry if i made my explanation confuseing english isnt my main langauge. and im new to using flash and ng player so yeah)

The "about" page wasn't updated, it should have no bearing on performance. That was an oversight with the last update that can be ignored.

It seems to be the case for most flash games that rely on saving information. So far, EBF and Con-Quest seems affected, though it may be an issue for any games that saves or loads data. I haven't had issues with the Submachine games, but those appear to load on ruffle instead of the Newgrounds Player. If there is any solutions available to the issue, I would find it quite appreciable.
