Unscouted section. Look for junk tags (keyboard mashing), wrong genre. There are a few artists and songs which pop up almost daily.

Good start! Help finding stolen audio is always appreciated. Two suggestions for a change/addition would be to include the Poyo Sand Canyon source. Sand Canyon is super popular as a meme song. Also, the Halcyon song as uploaded is the TARI Remix. Still the same base song, just a different version.

I'm sure it said it in the wiki, but be sure to hit the flag on the top of the submission frame and include all the sourcing you tracked down. Over time your whistle will work it's way up the ranks!

You can still go back and edit anything you've flagged until it is reviewed by a moderator. The one thing you can't seem to do is take OFF a flag once you've submitted it.

Even if you don't go through the flagging process, the audio mods do monitor this thread regularly.

As a side note, on the off-chance you ever flag something accidentally or realize you've made a mistake you can just edit your report to say so. We can clear a false report without punishing the user's whistle status (and conversely we can remove a song without awarding whistle points, too).

The way I differentiate them: stolen is a 100% rip of someone else’s work. I use Music for mashups, forbidden programs, or a remix of work not originating on NG.

Music flag for me is a less harsh flag. I’ve seen a few recently from submitters who made 100% of the content in a program but didn’t know that the program was now against the rules.

Please specify something in your reports. Sometimes we get trolls who leave blank flags, and if we don't recognize a source (after all we can't know every song), we might clear your flag and move on. You might not necessarily be penalized, depending on, but it pays to be specific, even if it's just naming the song.

Stolen flag is for songs authored by someone other than the poster. Music can be anything from rights management to disallowed programs like MMJ, as mentioned earlier. As long as you post a source or explain your report, the flags all go to the same mods, so it's not really a huge deal if you accidentally tick the wrong category.

Clearing out some backlog (not posting, too time intensive, sorry friends). I've flagged a few things MUSIC for use of LoopLabs. In the interest of saving myself some time while flagging, I'll blanket my reasons:

1) Stock Loops rule.
2) (ToS point 1) [...] The Service, the Looplabs Tracks and the Combined Tracks are intended for your personal, non-commercial use.
3) (ToS point 5) [...] User owns anything they contribute, but LoopLab gets exclusive rights. (summed up legalese)
