Smoking a gram of good grass earns me more satisfaction than buying an album I'll never listen to.

No, I worded my post the wrong way. What I meant to say was, you should know someone is high .

Here I am, bored with everything.

No, just stupid. Being deaf helps too.

60 Watts for a small gig in a bar, etc. it's fine. Of course you need a PA for larger venues.

You should check out their album, Gods Of War, it's epic as all hell. I'm pretty sure there are others in here who can give you a list of songs you might like. And if after all you still don't like them who cares, there are plenty more bands out there.
Another good album is Hail to England. But yeah, about songs:

Heart of Steel
Blood of the Kings
Hail and Kill
Bridge of Death
Army of Immortals
Thor (The Powerhead)
March of Death
Gates of Valhalla
Defender
The Power of Thy Sword
Spirit horse of the Cherokee
The Gods Made Heavy Metal
Call to Arms
Hand of Doom
Hymn to the immortal Warriors
Odin
Sleipnir
Loki God of Fire.

That should be a good list to go off of.

Thanks guy im going to have to look them up on you tube to listen to them because I don't got limewire because it screwed my computer last time I tried it..

Rhapsody (Of Fire)

very kickass list, although I have not heard of Elvenking and I've never listened to Demons and Wizards.

I would add Angra. Angra is fucking great, one of my favs of any genre.

Also, Zandelle. They're a very underrated band. I haven't heard anybody else talk about them. Check them out. I'd say every power metal fan here should check them out (along with Angra, of course). I love their song Vengeance Rising (from the album of the same name).

Also...
Helloween
Manticora
the Lord Weird Slough Feg
Fates Warning
Black Majesty
Steel Attack
Conception
Redemption
Running Wild
Shaaman

Also, goddamn, the lead singer of Slough Feg and Hammers of Misfortune is one ugly motherfucker. He's awesome, though. Actually, I think he kind of looks like a cross between

Cover art I did for Ganon-Dorf's band.
It's pretty much complete, now I'm just gonna toy around with some image settings to make it look prettier.

I checked out Angra they are pretty fucing sweet, and I'm still to lookup up Zandelle.

Elvenking is a really good folk/power band.

I said Fates Warning. The only other band on that list I've heard is Helloween. I'll check the others out.

I'd expect Systematic Chaos as well. Maybe Paradise Lost. The only other album not yet released this year I'm hoping would be awesome is Helloween's upcoming album, even though there's no real info about it right now.

I've got a solution for you, you'll need:
A LONG trenchcoat
A buddy of yours
a hat
huge sunglasses
and a fake beard.

Put on the trenchcoat and all the rest of the stuff, then sit on your friends shoulders, and when you're trying to get in, just speak with the deepest voice possible, in perfect english.

"Mmyes, I was thinking to myself just a few moments ago, whether i should attend this concert or not, I decided to in fact go along with it, and I bought a ticket, here you go."

...Always works.

No, but seriously, get someone taller and older than you to go with you.
...Or just threaten the staff.

I don't know how it is in the rest of Australia, but that shit doesn't fly here in WA.

If you're an underager wanting to get into an 18+show, you either need connections, or luck on your side ;)

Also, Oppugnant, you'll find that most international acts who tour over to Australia will only put on 18+ shows. You get the odd AA show, but not too often.

Luckily the Marduk show is AA :) Ordering my ticket tomorrow.
Hopefully nothing goes wrong with that. o_o

But seriously, I hate those 18+ shows. I missed Dragonforce+Firewind because of it.

I probably won't see them unless they have an interesting national support ;D

Getting the new SA album tonight, I can't believe I never heard them; pure awesomeness.
But nothing beats a nice bit of Megadeth.

Black Metal, mostly fast, and rather typical. Not too extraordinary.

I don't like most black metal, so I'll skip checking them out.
I mostly listen to these:

Thrash Metal
Groove metal
Melodic Death metal
Viking metal
Folk metal
Metalcore
Death metal
Prog. Metal
Doom metal
Heavy metal
Black metal

...they're kinda in order of preference, some I wasn't quite sure about though.
