Does anyone actually like Old man's Child? I never hear anyone talking about them, even though I actually really like them...

Nah, there is no PROG in Megadeth, just thrash with a technical edge (Rust in Peace). People tend to mix PROG up with TECH, which doesn't have any connection to each other.

What I listen to from most to least:

Power Metal
Thrash Metal
Heavy Metal
Folk Metal
Doom Metal
Prog Metal
Death Metal
Black Metal

The only Black Metal album I have is Dark Medieval Times by Satyricon. What bands should I check out first to get into Black Metal?

I forgot to look them up after I posted my previous message. I'll check them out later today if I remember.

good

Steel Lord On Wheels? That's my favourite song by them.

I don't remember which song I heard, but it was on their only full length album and I know it has that song. And I know the first track is just an instrumental intro and the song I heard had vocals, so there's a probability of 1/9 that it was Steel Lord on Wheels. Anywho, I figure Hibria's a good band.

Thank you :) well, I uploaded the stuff for a few users in the past, so I'm sure there are people in here who got it for you. My download/upload value for this month is almost drained, so I can't send it to you before the 1st June. Maybe some one has it for you.

Man, your stuff is mind-blowing. Were the fuck is your record deal!?
Reminds me of Rotting Christ, says it was inspired by the Greek portfolio, so I guess its a good thing.

I listen to a lot of different types of metal, but I'm mostly partial to gothic, black, death, thrash, doom, power and prog metal.

Also, my 15-year-old brother is at a Symphony X show right now. One of his friends got him in for free, and I couldn't make it because all my money is gone.

Damn him.

I might be going to a Symphony X concert in October, but they're just going to be support for Dream Theater, so I don't know how long the set will be.

At least I'll be seeing Emperor next week, along with Averse Sefira and Through The Eyes of the Dead. I'll try to see Symphony X the next time they come here. No idea when that'll be.

When was the last time Symphony X came to New York? Years was it?

Also, I want to go to that Emperor show, for I AM THE BLACK WIZARDS!
