I finished recording the song, the guitars are mostly just twisted little one finger chords on the 12th, 14th, 15th,16th and 17th frets, it sounds creepy, and arguably makes it more industrial than death metal (...I like neither, to clarify, I just wanted to write a death metal song) If I had my hands on some pedals it would make it sound better.
The chorus is just a riff using power chords that mostly progresses from the 2nd to 8th fret. I had to record a whammy bar slam 3 times because during the last verse there are emphasis on 3 words.
The drums are mostly cymbals on the verses, then it progresses to some slamming on the bridge, then it just goes into this crazy stuff, you know, a beat on every drum continuously? I'm not that educated or big on drums. That's why my brother is doing them.
The bass (which I managed to get thanks to my mum's, friend's daughter) is just some little progressive picking up until the chorus, which is initiated by a small bass solo, then it becomes the shredding that is typical of MCR. (I know, not metal, but I like them)
BTW, the new guitar i'm getting is a BC Rich Warlock with white snake pattern.
