While we're talking about Sci Fi movies Enemy Mine, Event Horizon and of course 2001: A Space Odyssey are my favorites. As far as I'm concerned Starwars Episodes 2 and 3 don't exist. And if you're wondering yes, I actually like Phantom Menace.

Even if that's not how the actual solo is played, you have talent.
Here I am, bored with everything.

Very nice, I can't sweep pick for shit, so I'm not going to try and copy you, however, don't get cocky, then i'd have to go all Bach on your ass. LOL.
I just got Arcturus' The Sham Mirrors. While it doesn't have those fucking excellent moments that Le Masquerade Infernale had due to it's more conservative nature, it's still an excellent prog/avante garde metal CD, and is also more consistent than the aforementioned album. The drumming is also even better than LMI.
Verdict: Get it.

In accordance to my new drone project, I wrote a new song. It goes off to describe a scene, and then it wanders into the psychotic ramblings of a lunatic.
Traversing the Highway (12:00 AM)
Sounds flutter about my ears and eyes
So desperate to be seen
Asking me with suffering words
Where I have been
So I walk along the side of the road
Watching cars roll by
And never once someone stopped
And asked if I wanted a ride
Do not get angry are my words to myself
I may exchange annoyance with a peaceful thought
Because now will be the time to quote
What hath God wrought?
I say watch people move about
With no colloquial question
Their opinions on their own Übermensch life
Is the reason for their intelligence arrested
Here I am, bored with everything.

I will personally track you down and force you watch them, not having seen the new ones is forgivable, but the originals just can't be beat
Has anyone else ever noticed that the guys from Necrophagist don't really look as completley metal as we all know them to be?
Also, original Star Wars > any other trilogy

Candlemass

I used to have a keyboard. I taught myself how to play songs from video games. I did various Zelda tunes, the Perfect Dark theme, and the Final Fantasy victory song (FF5 version). simple stuff. didn't do anything that long or difficult.

I have them on tape. the versions that Lucas didn't go back and fuck with.

I love Enemy Mine. I thought Event Horizon was okay. haven't seen 2001 yet, but I want to because Kubrick was awesome.
I watch a lot of Sci Fi, so I'm not sure about my favs. They might be Scanners, Videodrome(I'm obsessed with David Croenenberg's work), John Carpenter's the Thing, Equilibrium, Blade Runner, and something that doesn't come to mind ATM. can't be sure.

Not bad.
You look very young and you're really good for someone who just started playing a year a go.
It sounded a bit off but you did very well for someone who tabbed it by ear and who has only been playing for two years now.

Halarious film. Funny as hell. A laughed so hard when the Stonehenge replica was supposed to be 20 ft high and instead it was 20 inches with dancing dwarfs.
My introduction to Thrash metal:)
