I wish I could make it to Wacken, but it probably won't happen. Especially since I haven't left North America since 1997.

By the way, I just ordered two VIP tickets to the June 1st Emperor concert I posted about 4 days ago--one for myself and one for my younger brother. In total, the cost was $210.00. This better be worth it. I've been waiting to see Emperor live for quite a long time.

If it's place, fuck it, why don't we meet up in, say, iceland?
After all it IS directly between america and europe.
And i live there.
and it rules.

Also,i like Scar symmetry alot, they're just great.
actually Scar Symmetry just might be.
Nah.
Actually they just might be...be...

Better than slayer.

Oh, don't look at me , i'm a monster!
see what i've become, i've been corrupted by awesomeness!

Oops, just listened to altar of sacrifice, reclaimed Slayer's awesomeness.
Slayer ^
Scar Symmetry -

So yeah, slayer is the best.
Again.

Now i'm going downstairs, into my room, picking up my guitar and playing the solo(s) from angel of death.
Then, i'll carve slayer into my arm with a knife..

Agreed, especially since I'd likely be able to pay it off without taking out a loan or acquiring other debts.

Very borderline with lots of false positives and 'core stuff.

I understand the mallcore aspect by which you judge these bands.... but they're hardly '-core' are they?

I think what Ghoul is trying to say is that any idiot can not know metal and still say they like Metallica or CoB, he's not inferring they are "core" by genre.

Well then what was the point of the question?

I'm sure Ghoul is fully aware that neither band is "core" musically.

Even though some of you don't like Opeth, I've just listened to Opeth for the first time in almost a month, and I loved it.

The song was Bleak from Blackwater Park.

Oh, of course.

Well then what was the point of the question?

Cause it just seems silly. If we're going to be all elitist about genre's, why not the ones that actually matter?

Whoa synchronicity in action, I'm listening to Blackwater Park right now.
Opeth kick ass no matter what the peasants think.

Yeah, that's why I never bothered changing my alias, because I reached a point where I would dislike a certain band I like now.

It blew my fucking socks off.
