Glad to hear that, brother.

Also, my virginity is NOT up for grabs at the moment, you may have it once I'm drunk enough not to say no.

Wait, you're turning down Sam.

REJECTION.

And just like that....he was gone...

I'd turn me down too if I saw my penis and knew it was going to be stuck in me somewhere.

That sentence was harder to write than it looked.

I saw them with Cliff back in 83-84. One of the best concerts i've seen. I got to bang my head on Cliff's knee for a song , fuckin awesome. They played this small bar in Chicago and i spent the whole show within a foot of Cliff.

does the knee/head story go in any deeper? Im curious to hear how that came to be.

How long were you banging on his knee?

I WAS going to comment how weird it was to let someone bang on your knee, and to enjoy banging on someones knee, but then I thought of myself in your position and it being Mustaine's knee, and completely understand. :D

I have this really weird phobia that if I hurt my head, I lose brain cells and begin to kinda get pissed off and nervous.

Another one of the weird-ass phobias I got from my mom's genes.

Hahaha! I don't know who's greater, Lemmy or Cliff! And funnily enough, I picked up Kiss of Death today.

I simply can't believe Motorhead can still be the same hard rocking fuckers they were 30 years ago. The only band I know of that havn't gotten worse over time.

No, I don't think Maiden are still good.

I got to listen to it a few days ago as well, it's damn good, even though I prefered Inferno. They still rock and kick more ass than the whole gay-metal-core scene together.

Bill, that sounds like a great experience! Never had the chance to bang my head on a legend's knee :P

Everyone is saying that!

They still rock and kick more ass than the whole gay-metal-core scene together.

And they can still make a video and get away with it.

Bill, that sounds like a great experience!

And a funny one, it's pretty weird that you were banging your head against his knee...

Though it would have been fucking awesome seeing them in 83-84. Pure fucking thrash.

Speaking of pure fucking thrash, I unearthed two gems in my record collection I never noticed before.

1. Possessed - Beyond the Gates

Though not their debut and classic first death metal album 'Seven Churches' (Which I havn't heard), it's more of a thrash monster that's still a hell of satanic thrash record.

2. Nuclear Assault - Game Over

I found this in the sleeve of Anthrax - Spreading the Disease by accident, and quickly put it on. Great vocals, BRILLIANT breaks, and a fucking awesome debut.

Thanks alot, dad!

I understand with Cliff and Petrucci... and if I was headbanging on someones knee, I'd make the effort to open my mouth and venture north.... and hope Mr. Winyk slips out :D.

It was hard. Punks wouldn't accept them for being too metal, and metalheads wouldn't accept them for being too punk. But I'm an avid fan of Hardcore Punk and Crossover Thrash. Black Flag, Corossion of Conformity and Suicidal Tendencies are among my favourite bands.

corrosion of conformity are an excellent band, i havn't heard that much from them but i wouldnt mind getting one of their early albums like animosity. their recent stuff is a bit tame in comparison.

Corrosion of Conformity was always awesome. From Animosity to Blind to Deliverance, they all kick major ass. They just changed their sound from crossover to stoner metal.

I rarely get to go to concerts (because there aren't many around here), but I still have a few little annecdotes.

About three years ago, I had to drag the lead singer of Ground Zero (a local tech death band) out of the most violent moshpit I've ever been in because after stage-diving, the crowd mercilessly beat him (myself included). He was around 6'6' (compared to my 5'10'' at the time) and weighed somewhere in the range of 260 lbs (mostly muscle, too, very little fat on this guy) and he was gasping for air (thanks to both the intense deathgrunting and the fact some joker decided it'd be a right laugh to punch him in the throat). Once I managed to drag him out, I tried my damnedest to prop him up in a chair and got him some water. He was needless to say quite greatful.
