Opeth is a mediocre band. They're great at doing what they do, which is being mediocre. I own Blackwater Park and Orchid and I can safely say, that those two albums are mediocre.

I've recently noticed that metal isn't really as angry as it needs to be.
As a matter of fact, I think KoRn (with Anaal Nathrakh a close second) have the angriest sound out of anything I've heard - are you guys gonna let that happen? I wanna hear the angriest/angstiest metal you can give me.
And I don't really consider Death metal to be angry - it's just too emotionless.
