My language arts class is doing this project on the relation between poetry and music. My teacher said that it can't be inappropriate, so I asked her if the song could be about god. I wanted to do God Was Created by Vehemence. After I asked the question, some black kid was like...Oh he wants to do some gothic bullshit. I snapped.

I can't wait for the presentations so I can make them listen to the song. I'm going to get stares for months after. lol. If I can't do that song, I'm thinking about doing either The Reign ov Shemsu-Hor or Towards Babylon by Behemoth or Seven by Necrophagist.

I mean, she knew Ichi was off, and told him she wanted to be sliced up and shit, and I couldnt figure out her intent, since it's pretty predictable he'd do it considering how excited he got about the idea.

Also, I wish those two had worked out as a couple. When they were pulling that guys skin off together, I was just like " omfg, cutest thing ever ^___^ "

Didnt know there was an anime. Why did you think it sucked? I have to admit, I had a huge hype on how gory it was going to be, but turned out not so bad, but as a movie with that disappointment on the side, was still good.

Hostel was a disapoinment. 3/4 of character developpement and i was begging them to just fucking massacre shit already. I watch an hour of shit to watch 20 minutes of why I went there.

But the eye scene? My friend and I lost control and couldnt stop laughing and going PLOP PLOP PLOP in the theater.

But ya, normally gore = just laffing. Iunno, just knowing it's fake doesnt do enough for me to be scared or cringe. I think sounds make me cringe more than visual. And normally gory films are too fast paced to care about the slow tormenting sounds of people being ripped apart slowly or what not. But the main guy from Ichi, I loved him, being so inlove with pain and so emotionally disconnected, like toturing was just as common as a handshake. It sets a weird mood for me, that I like particularly.

um dude, those aren't gore movies, those movies are like what nu metal is to actual metal. Real gore movies are stuff like Hollywood Chainsaw Whores or Santa Sangre and stuff like that. Saw and Hostel are really, really, really weak examples of 'gore'.

Yeah Hostel was weak. It was a really defined line halfway between the movie. It was like sex and drugs|gore. Completely pointless characters and environments.

Jijii was trying to fuck around with his mind, she and Jijii are the only ones who know that Ichi's memories of the rape are false, and Jijii figured it would be easier to manipulate Ichi if the "victim" was to reappear in his life.

Ya, that was the one.
The ending was so cliche and almost ruined the whole thing for me, but it was one oft he few films that was intense for me to watch. Also, I still need to see Jacob's Ladder.
