Yeah, Dethklok are too busy being br00tal to care about real musicianship. It's a real kick in the teeth for me seeing as my favorite song in the entire series is a brief little acoustic jam they play in the middle of episode four.

I prefer atmospheric grieks (low pitched growl-shrieks) and atmospheric singing.

Vocal-wise, I like just about everything, from animalistic growls to air-raid siren shrieks.

Here's something I recorded in celebration of getting my old Aria up and running again. I think this mix is definitely one of my better ones, especially considering that I've never tryed recording (let alone playing) this style of music before.
