I guess I did. I remember when I was into Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. That was years ago and I don't like them anymore. However, I do feel like a fool for getting into them by knowing them from TV. Now I'll find way better bands without that piece of crap. :P

Another??
Wow. I guess its bound to happen to lots of people.
I was into Nu-Metal as well. I was a HUGE SlipKnot fan (or maggots as the kewl ppl sai). I liked, Korn, SOAD, and a little Mudvayne as well.
But I'm passed that.
i loves power metals nows!
:]
And I'll never stop!

Yeah but I said it in different words.
Here I am, bored with everything.
I just listened to what was on the radio or on the music channels. I'm ashamed of myself. Though I do still find joy in Papa Roach, Linkin Park and cheesey pop like Madonna and Rachel Stevens...

I think thats the last period of Madonna before she went shit. Like A Prayer and Material Girl > all though.

Madonna is tr00!
I just discovered Weedeater, Bongzilla, Yob, Grief, Jucifer, and Noothgrush today. All great doom/sludge/stoner/drone bands. They'll make you want to step on something.

Those are 3 mighty kvlt bm bands.
Opeth is tomorrow :D. Fucking sweet.
If they play To Bid You Farewell I may actually explode in my pants.
Hey guys, please check my new demo "Revelations".

If you don't mind, leave me a review on the metal archives :) Ghoul did it already!
Tell me how you like it.
My buddy Tom's black metal band, The Upside Down Church, released their debut today. It is one of the funniest albums I've heard this year, the lyrics are hysterically funny and some of the riffs are surprisingly good. For a joke band started by a trio of stupid drunks, they rule.

Sadly I can't as I'm on dial up :(. I'll make Ghoul send it me or something once I have broadband.
The album cover looks amazing though!

I'd like to know what nu-metal sounds "good" to you. Yes I enjoy some KoRn and Chevelle but I keep my tastes tasteful.
the nu metal that sounds good to me are the ones that aren't like limp bizkit or linkin park
my nu metal stages are as follows
when i was 11, i worshiped linkin park, and alt rock, i also listened to a lot of classic rock and punk
when i was 14, i got out of a shitty music period and moved into nu metal; disturbed, slipknot, and the like
6 months ago i went into a short metalcore stage and my nu metal/metalcore stage ended just before i joined metal hell,
now i am tired of talking about nu metal
anyways, i am off to look for a hypocrisy cd

Disturbed are possibly the shittiest band ever. Cept for maybe Stone Sour.

Amazing, man. I've been recording a lot of MIDI stuff recently, and none of it comes close to it.
