Well, as long as they don't play anything off their newest album, I'm fine.

scared of receiving mildly threatening pm's from a bunch of pre-teen twats? Kind of hard to be scared of that :/
Internets can not physically harm someone, no matter how many times you type alternating caps at them.

Awesome! :D
Pantera - Vulgar Display....
Umm....I thought you didn't like Pantera.
Keeper is a bit short :(
Excluding the bonus tracks, it is a bit short, but so what? Other than it being a bit short, what did you think of the album?

I do like Pantera. I just don't like them as much as I used to. I find them more boring than stuff I listen to now, like Blind Guardian, Dragonforce, etc, etc.
And I didn't pay for it, friend lent it me :P.

I've only listened to it once as I've been busy listening to Opeth in preparation for the gig (two days left :D).
But I believe I had good first impressions. Giving it another spin now..... metaphorically, the CD is tucked away in its case.

DO NOT INSULT THE DUFFEKNOL!!! We're making music together, so stfu if you don't have anything nice to say to him.
Haha I love being a pain in the ass. Well, actually I don't :(
ANYWAYS, you guys should still check out 'I', old school heavy metal meets black metal. Too awesome.

Literally, or is that innuendo?
You seemed rather protective ;)

I checked out 'The Storm I Ride' and I'm downloading 'Warriors' now. But its insanely difficult on dial up :(
The Storm I Ride was a pretty sweet track though.

Buy a plane ticket. You cant put a price on love.
Unless we're talking hookers.

Despite what I said a while ago, I will probably get a hoodie from Stratovarius's website, even though it's kinda pricy.

GC doesn't like Korn anymore, I suppose? Well, neither do I.
A little smudge on his resume as a metalhead. Oh well nothing big. We all went through a nu-metal stage.

I didn't. I went from an AIC and Soundgarden phase to a death metal phase, then to a Black Metal phase, then now, with more atmospheric music.
I never listened to nu-metal at first. I discovered the entire genre AFTER I got into shit like Nile. however, I don't mind a very little amount of Korn or some Spineshank every now and then.

Okay fine well most of us went through a nu-metal phase. I still like Alice in Chains and Soundgarden though. Thing is, they're metallic.

When I started listening to Metal I was a Killswitch Engage's number one fan. But then I kind of moved to Thrash, and with Thrash came Speed, and then Melodic Death Metal, and then for a while I listened to nothing but Napalm Death and the early Hypocrisy stuff. Now I just love it all.
?

But you DO listen to some nu-metal. I'm not saying you got your start on it though.

I still like Alice in Chains. Too bad their singer died a few years back.

R.I.P. Layne Staley. One of the greatest singers EVAR! Well with clean vocals. AIC is touring again however, and no matter how much I might detest the replacement singer, I really want to see them, because they broke up before my concert going phase kicked in.

some nu metal is good but a lot of it sucks, korn is medium cause their songs all sound kinda similar

I'd like to know what nu-metal sounds "good" to you. Yes I enjoy some KoRn and Chevelle but I keep my tastes tasteful.
Tool isn't nu-metal either, they're prog rock.

I went through a Nu-Metal phase, then I got into death metal, and now, I've been going through another Nu-Metal phase :)
Nu-Metal is fun :)
I've never listened to nu-metal. I got my start with metalcore such as Trivium, KSE and A7X.
I seriously reckon anyone who didn't listen to KoRn back in 98/99...damn...you missed out :P
I remember when my buddy had "Follow The Leader" on his walkman (lol!) back when I was 11. I fell in love. Ahhhh...those were the days. I'm not ashamed to admit that my musical diet consisted of KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock and Eminem :P

if youre into metalcore, you must have heard of throwdown, although they lean more towards hardcore. but its still great stuff.
any one dig hardcore? i love me some hardcore every now and then, but the pits at concerts are full of skinny little morons swinging for heads and knees. that just pisses me off, so i do what any good metalhead would, takle the sons of bitches.
my top 3 hardcore:
TERROR
Throwdown
HateBreed

Meh, I never went through a nu-metal stage either... or shitty pop-punk like a lot of teenagers do.
The first CD I ever bought was Judas Priest's Metal Works.
