That makes me depressed knowing people actually still write lyrics about how much they want to see dragons and wizards. Then I realize it's so retarded it's funny so I get back into a good mood. Haha, it's Power Metal appreciation day here in Metal Hell. Personally it's my favorite genre and if I did ever start or play in a band it would have to be a Power Metal band. Thats so far out of the question though. I have three guitars, two amps, an electronic drummer, an equilizer, and a whole bunch of technical shit that I've inherited but no knowledge of how to actually use any of it. Not even the guitars. Thank god you dont really need a good voice to sing in a Power Metal band. :)

From what I've heard/read, he was being a bit of a dick. But Sharons behaviour was just totally childish, you would think she could find a better way to deal with her problems than what was basically a very big (and much better planned) hissy fit.

Well Hansi Kursch for example probably couldnt do anything other then Power Metal because his vocals are so hoarse. Not like I dont like the guy, I think his work is awesome but his voice is pretty every day. In his live stuff he cant really go that high, he has no range.

I'm litteraly 11 years late with this post, But I picked up Dissections "Storm of the Lights Bane" yesterday, and after listening through it at least 10 times, I can comfortably say it's one of the best albums I own. This is a must-get for ANY BM fan. Every song has it's own unique epicness, so to speak. The vocals are the weakest part, but still good enough, and the guitars are the driving force behind the albums greatness, in my opinion. Geeet it.

Fly's very good and it's a strange song to me. It seems very different to all the other Blind Guardian songs I've listened to. Another Stranger Me, good song, but there are better songs on the album. Overall, I think it's a great album.
