Naturally. I have a deep voice. The drumming was excruciatingly hard, and chances are I can't do something like that for a long while. I had to practice day in, day out, to pull that off.

Working on it, nearly two years now, shoulder length. But I'm planning to grow it further to get a Dimebag type look :D.

How many plays guitar/drums/bass/else?

I play guitar and bass. I'd like a drumkit but I have no where to put one, plus I doubt my dad would like it.

How many listens any other style of music than metal?

I definately do. Check my NG fave bands, the only metal band there is Metallica and I hardly listen to them - more into Megadeth and Strapping Young Lad at the moment. But I definately listen to all types of music.

I got short, curly, thick, scotsman hair.

I play all three plus keys and vocs.

I listen to weirded out electronica, also.

Answers as much as possible. :)

GC's song is awesome. I love ambience. Did you enjoy the more ambient parts of that song? Did you pick out the subtle keyboards?

I don't play any intruments, but I've been asked to front a friends thrash band so I guess I'll be a vocalist.

How many listens any other style of music than metal?

I listen to whatever sounds good to me.

Guitar and bass.

Read profile, most of my favorite music isn't metal.

Suudsu! I think you have V for Vendetta...? Just watchin your sig. ;)

Response to Metal Hell 2006-04-27 00:09:49

Sorry for double-post,but I forget to answer myself to those questions.
1.I got pretty long hair,if ya want to see, check my profilepic.
2.I play bass in one band called Morte Sacrificum. I got four-stringer,double-mic,black,Yamaha. ;)
3.I listen also a lot of proge-music(Pink Floyd...)an' all kinda music,but I can't stand rap or hiphop. It bothers me,cuz that just ain't a music for me... :S Also I don't listen country-music. Guitar-riffs are funny,but if I've had to listen' it,I think I can't do it. An' of course are couple bands,which I like a lot(KIngston Wall,Cream etc.)an' what I hate(Metallica,The Offspring...)

An' guys,In Flames,is that nu-metal?

Response to Metal Hell 2006-04-27 00:13:51

1. Long...roughly halfway down my back.
2. Guitar, Drums, Vocals, Bass, Synth (in that order)
3. Lots! Heaps of nu-metal, metalcore, plus obscure electronica, techno, d n b, glitch, breakbeats etc.

Depends on what In Flames we're talking about. Soundtrack was numetal. I'm not so sure about come clarity, but their early stuff, basically everything they made before Reroute to Remain, is melodeath.

Do you define music by how hard it is to play? I dont like rap or hip hop that much. Its just not my style but i cant definetely stand music nazis who hate some specific music genres. (See my music in my profile. I mostly make techno but im also a big metal lover)

An' guys,In Flames,is that nu-metal?

I dont think so. I think its pretty similar to COB but not as diverse as Children of bodom is. The songs seem pretty similar to me.

first couple of songs, pretty good. then they get into that whiny singing that anders tries to pull off. they also have a chick singing on the fourth song. horrid. so personally i would group this one as nu-metal too.

Answers as much as possible. :)

1. My hair is nearly shoulder-length. it's pretty curly so it's actually longer than it first seems.
2. I only do vocals. Clean ones, mostly. Oh, I CAN play Ocarina, but that's just a reminder from my Zelda- fandays.(I still love the series, though)
3. I listen to WAY more genres than can fit here, even some rappish-style(if it's in english, finn-rap pisses me off very easily!)

Not me; my hair is so curley that it pretty much turns to a fro. =P And I don't have the time nor patience to deal with straightening it.

How many plays guitar/drums/bass/else?

Drums and vocals.

How many listens any other style of music than metal?

I listen to some classic and hard rock, a bit of electronica, but mostly all I listen to is metal.

Response to Metal Hell 2006-04-27 08:24:51

I have medium-short dark (not like raven-black, but natrually really dark brown/blackish) but right now it has some blonde in because I dyed it like four or five months ago, and the bleach hasn't grown out.

I do vocals, but lack musical talent. I do have rhythm, so I could play the drums, but I don't

I listen to less-hard rock, old shit like Floyd, Zep, even the Beatles (though I HATE the Grateful Dead), industrial like Nine Inch Nails, mild punk (NOFX is all that I like), and classical.

I dont like rap or rap/rock, hip-hop or contemporary R&B, however I do like oldies and old R&B like the Four Tops. Country I don't like, but it doesn't kill me (for the most part).

GChrist - is your cd going to be availible online? Though you might be giving to the hell, I really want to buy one to support you, and get some great music...You too Ghoul, as soon as I can get my sister to comply...bleh

Are you calling it Nu-metal just beacuse you dont like it? I haven't heard come clarity, but I don't see how whiny singing and female vocals make it nu-metal. I always thought nu-metal had to have some kind of rap element.

Response to Metal Hell 2006-04-27 11:30:10

I thought In Flames went more Metalcore on their last few albums. And thats completely different to Nu-Metal.

Yeah, I will post it online for you to hear, but I don't know about online orders yet, I'm still talking to my label about distribution and availability. I'll inform you soon enough, glad you're interested.

I'll be able to post the album online in a few days even, I have recorded all tracks and I'm mastering now, which won't take too long. I'm also working on the cover art and so far, it looks like it's going to be nice :)
