Strppaing Young Lad is a good, band. A lot of good bands com from from here (Strapping Young Lad for example). The only shitty bands from here I've heard are Gorguts, Kitty, and I don't remember the other name.

The guitars are weak, drums and bass are mediocre, and it DOES get FREQUENT radio play (name the last metal band that had that). Not only that, but they whiney-ass vocalist has the stupidest lyrics I've ever heard, for example: "Hatred fuels my blood, I'll burn ya down (you can't help me)." Explain how hatred fuels anything? It can't, its abstract. Not only that, but it doesn't qualify as a poetic marriage because that image is cliche as all getout. And, as a final insult, I got the lyrics from: PLYRICS "Your #1 Punk Lyrics Source" .
The band is complete trash, and not even close to metal.

They aren't a metal band, though. The nine members don't do anything. Thier vocalist is mediocre at best, they have three USELESS guitarists that have no skill and no good riffs at all. The bass is just about non-existant. They have a DJ for samples (linkin park, anyone?). They have a ton of percussionists. Joey Jordison has a limited amount of skill, he is probably the most talented member, HOWEVER he can't drum like Frost or Flo Mounier, or any good black metal drummer. He is WAY overrated. Plus they have an unlimited mallcore base, which would immediately turn away anyone into trve metal.
A7X isn't on the metal archives, so they aren't metal. Punk is the closest approximation.
