Here would be another Finn. What are everyone elses opinions about his list? I'm too green to judge, but personally I like Stam1na okay.

Well, my favourites are Kadonneet Kolme Sanaa and Sananen Lihasta. My friend is a fan of them. I don't have any of their albums myself.

Okay. Kadonneet Kolme sanaa is maybe the popular song of their. But Kaikki Kääntyy Vielä Parhain Päin works also. And Koe Murha!
But I hate that their have so weird tuning in their guitars and bass,so I can't play with my band their songs, cuz it's so difficult to swap for example in concert that tuning for couple songs and then back. :\
what I think america needs is a great metal band to come and shake us up like metallica did in the 80s. Cuz all we got now is emo metal and pop punk bullshit.

Allright. When my band comes,we gonna do it. Heh-heh. :D
Seems our almighty Goat and Ghoul are not here now, so I will dare give an opinion on the list... Children of Bodom, hell yeah, good metal. Not too much my tastes, but yeah. Now Dimmu, I hat'em but I think I am forced to accept them. And Cradle... I just loathe them as well, accept their very early work. And accepting Cradle or not always causes a hell of a debate so I'll just ignore them and leave that to the big boys. WASP goes in. Immortal HELL YEAH, now thats a cool point for you. And stam1na... Yeah, not bad. Not my taste, not too bad. Plus a second cool point because you are a Finn and because you socialised with Tuovila XD. My opinion is you are gonna be let in, and they are going to tell you to try listening to some good Black Metal (unlike Dimmu and Cradle!) like Behexen or Abigail or Kristallnacht or Graveland or Nargaroth etc.
But I cannot judge, I am relatively new compared to the veterans (not to Metal, hell no, just to the crew).

Well, you can add Metallica to emo metal and pop punk bullshit nowadays :P
finland_krillin91 and ChainsawCharlie, you're both in, welcome :)
Thanks alot! :D
Ya like Immortal,eh? I got 'em T-shirt.
Well, when im now in,do i klick that button, where's reading "join Metal Hell"?
From the 'famous' black metal bands (for example Marduk, Dimmu, Burzum, Behemoth etc) Immortal are pretty much a soft spot of mine... ^^
And btw, the fact that you joined just means you can post in this thread (its a 'club/crew') without the Veterans bitching, ridiculising you, flaming you and kicking you out of here XD

I know Burzum, but unfortunately heard it. And is that really true, that Immortal has
finished? I heard it a long time ago,but not were really sure it. And now i remembered it.
And remember. I'm Finn,so my english will be propably bad,or worse. :D
Now i made a mistake. I'm sorry, and now this plains me about double-posting,but what-ever. I nean that I know Burzum, but do NOT unfortunately heard it. No. Never hear it. I'm stupid an' I cab't write... :(

immortal finished up in the late 90's man :)
if you were a fan of their drumming, the drummer is now in the band Grimfist, you might want to check them out, they're decent.

my bad, he was in Grimfist for a bit but has since left. still a decent band.
Immortal.. I wanted to cry when I realised they were never gonna make music together again... T_T (that was a looooong time ago)
and btw Finns usually misspell v and w. They're funny.

No Im not fan. actually i didnt really like the drummingstyle of Immortal. It was always the same bass-drum-hitting. for example Dimmu have muchos better drum beat. They have some fills too.
But im not hating Immortal. Band did really great job an' i like the music. :D
IMMORTAL frontman Abbath (real name: Olve Eikemo) has reportedly joined forces with original IMMORTAL drummer Armagedda, ENSLAVED guitarist Arve Isdal and GORGOROTH bassist King in a brand-new project dubbed simply I. The group have finished writing two-thirds of the material for their upcoming full-length debut, which will feature lyrics written primarily by former IMMORTAL guitarist Demonaz (real name: Harald Nævdal). The band, who expect to enter the studio before the end of 2005, are said to be contemplating making several festival appearances next year. More information will be made available soon.
let's hope that's true, I was getting bored with Abbath's 'Bomber' project

Try Burzum/Aske and Det Som Engang Var for a first taste of Burzum. Pretty good, sometimes rockish BM.

Okay. Thanks. I try.
I have heard that Burzum is good,so lets hope, that i like it too.
ChainsawCharlie, nice to know you got in! Now I'm not the only one here with the resposibility of keeping Finland in a good light. ;) And don't worry about your english! At least I can translate if you get into trouble... ;P No, seriously it's alright. You can make yourself understood and that's the idea! Welcome!
And Goatchrist, did you see my post earlier? I wanted to know if it's still posible to hear your music... I heard it differs from The_Ghouls music quite alot when talking about style.
...And no offence, Ghoul but your pieces really made the back of my head hurt... in a weird way...
it has this certain atmosphere I find really ...harassing... I guess that means: GOOD JOB! ^^
Tuovila - There is a link maybe ten or so pages back (more or less) of GChrist's newest EP left for free to members of the hell, check it out, its excellent (I reviewed in on the Archives, and mine actually did get posted, for a change)
Good to see some new members...
Horgh, Immortal's last drummer (I think) drums for Hypocrisy as of thier last cd (Virus, its awesome), unless I've been misinformed...
I was wondering, should I get Judas Priest's Pain Killer album?

I say Filosofem or Hvis Lyset Tar Oss. Here's a list of the burzum albums, in order of my preference:
Hliðhskjalf
Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Filosofem (I think Rundgang Um Die Transcendentale etc... is much better than Tomhet, but the rest of this album is just a notch below Hvis Lyset Tar Oss)
Det Som Engang Var
Dauði Baldrs
Aske
Burzum/Svarte Dauen (A Lost and Forgotten Sad Spirit and My Journey To The Stars are awesome songs, but A Lost... is available on the Aske EP rerecorded and the rest of the songs are kinda par. Yes, I have the original A Lost and Forgotten Sad Spirit, the one not available on Burzum/Aske.)
I'm getting really fucking pissed off. A lot of bands are doing North American tours and not playing in Vancouver.
Behemoth, Hypocrisy, Cryptopsy, Exodus, Kataklysm, Kreator, Nuclear Assault, Children of Bodom and Overkill are all skipping Vancouver on their tours.
FUCK

As I said before, move to Europe everyone. If you want to be really really true that is. We've got like 3 major ass metalbands playing here every month, last week my friend even skipped a Bolt Thrower and Necrophagist show that was right next to his house, just because he didn't feel like standing in line. "Meh, I'll catch em another time", c'mon, you all want to be able to say that too don't you >:)

Oh, sorry, didn't see that :) Well, then I'll upload the EP again, for all the new guys who're interested. And remember...I love receiving reviews for it on the METAL-ARCHIVES ;)
I'll post the link when the upload is done.
Tuovila, thanks for your help,im trying to keep Finlands reputation. An' i have a dictionary! ^^
An' 'bout Burzum, thanks to you all,im just searching for some CD's or EP's(if their are those short CD's? Or am i wrong?)...
But 'bout Black Metal, is there anybody, who have Dimmu's Stormblåst 2005 -CD? I've heard, that's really good album, but what ya say?

I've never liked anything that band did actually

Me neither.
Tuovola(and others), here's the link for my "In Articulo Mortis" release, enjoy and write a review on the metal archives, if you can ;)
