That's not quite enough to get in here, son. More bands you like?
Haha, some kind of Metal Hell Compilation you guys think? Sounds great :)
Compliation yes, or (and this is a lot to ask), maybe everyone could contribute to a collab track (or a few collab tracks)...There would be a lot of logistics to work out, but I think there is a lot of talent here, and I think it would have serious potential to be a kick ass cd.
YAY! A Metal Hell compilation! That'd be great! Most bandies here rule. But are there bands enough to fill a whole cd contributing one song each? (ok, every Ghoul-song is fifteen minutes or so, but still)
And to the guy that said something like: slipknot, and then some, all I can say is FUCK YOU and then some
(which btw, to the rest of the people that know metal, is better than years of decay I think though I agree that its a good album, while not better than my fav, FEEL THE FIRE)
hey, check this riff I wrote:
Drop C tuning

Uhh sorry no.
Sorry if this generalisation is wrong, but to you like newer metallica more than older metallica? Just something slipknot fans usualy like thats all

Cyber Grind? Hehe, something like Gigantic Brain? :P they are sick.
the metal hell cd idea sounds awesome.
unfortunatley all of my band equip is in my hometown, and im living a few hundred miles away.
if anyone needs an acoustic piece though, i'd be more than happy.
dont gimme that crap that acoustic can't be metalish lol. listen to Man Made God by In Flames ;)
Hmm... What are the rules considering recording covers these days? The USA and EU don't have, as far as I know, a deal that would require european bands to pay royalties to american bands for using their songs, and vise-verca. I might be wrong, though. But how complicated is it and moreover how much does it COST to record a cover and put it out for sale/download?

You'll probably get a good 25 minutes out of the combined Asgarður and Kali Yuga songs. You can fill a CD probably up to an hour with Metal Hell stuff.
And to the other dude, Metallica and Slipknot are NOT metal, I'm assuming you like newer metallica. Bad stuff.

dude, thats what Dime used with his riffs half the time was 3 or 4 power chords.
I'm gonna compile a list of people who are submitting song(s) to the compilation:
Goatchrist
Willpostforfood
Cowscanbark
The_Ghoul(2)
Tuovila (?)
If I have left your name out of this list, please tell me and re-post the list, but with your name in it.
oh, and the tracklisting goes:
Goat Pervertor tracks:
1. Jesus Assfucked
2. Wrath of the Goat
Asgarður tracks:
3. Irminsul Enchants Beowulf
4. Frigg's Love For Wecra
5. Sword of Asgarður

What that supposed to be irony?
None of that was enjoyable. The acoustic parts were passable, but the rest sounded like a terribly unplanned, washed out collection of riffs and horrible drumming. I get the feeling that people who tell you they like your music are just being nice and trying not to hurt your feelings. I'd rather listen to Deathcrush on repeat, than have to listen to something like this again.
Maybe instead of building horrible looking flame guitars and putting out 9 albums a year (doing a split with two of your bands is especially sad), you should take some guitar and drum lessons (drum lessons especially), then actually spend time planning out your recording, rather than laying down the first thing that pops into your head. I feel sorry for anyone who's actually bought any of your CD's, as it would certainly be a waste of good money.
I hope you aren't planning on sending this off to Nuclear Blast, because (assuming they even listen to it) you'll only be embarrasing yourself even more.
Oh and hahaha, as for the Metal Hell CD compilation, you shouldn't even bother. You'll be completely overshadowed by Goatchrist and Willpostforfood.

I'm not a part of this club. Doesn't mean I can't post in it.

Save the hatin for the player haters ball. And I don't know why people buy MORE than one album of mine if it "sucks so much". Sure, the production isn't clean, but I didn't want it to be clean. Sure, you can't hear the drums very well, but that's because they're washed over with reverb and shit like that.
And yes, you are predisposed against black metal. You said it yourself on MSN. The only BM CD you like is Mayhem- A Grand Declaration of War.
And if you don't like Enslaved, you won't like this.
Oh, and I didn't do the guitars or vocals or bass, or write much of any of the riffs Jarrydn. I just drummed.

sorry, im not in the pantera worshipping cult.
and from what i've heard of pantera, the riffs are a lot more complex than that.
anyways, 20 years ago power chords were still newish and respected.
the combinations of 2 chords over the past 20 years you would think has diminished in relevancy. or maybe i'm just stupid.

'I didn't want it to be clean' is the biggest black metal cop-out ever.
And I also happen to like Chimera. And I didn't say I was predisposed. I said I hated it. Doesn't mean I can't recognise a good job well done.

Okay, so you didn't do guitars, vocals, or bass (there was bass?). But the drums were terrible. Surely even you can admit that. And besides, I've heard your 'guitar playing' and 'vocals' before, and it sounds just as terrible as goat pervertor/asjhfiiiydfgsjd
Anyway, here's a link to a good, affordable drum machine: http://www.acoustica.com/beatcraft/
And just to prove that I can do black metal too, here is the song I was working on. It's incomplete, but that doesn't really matter.

It's only a cop-out if I was trying to make it clean. I can make a clean production if I wanted to; it's really not hard. Just overdub the hell out of it, scoop the hell out of it, and put no reverb in it. However, I love reverb, and I think clean production is pretty much shit production.
There. I said it. Goratory has a shit production. There's no mystique in it; no atmosphere. I actually think DMDS has a better production than Chimera.

Nice job not being able to spell Asgarður. Why is guitar playing in quotes? And the last time you heard it you said it was awesome. Right now I either don't respect you for changing your mind or don't respect you for lying to me the first time. And yes, there was bass. Probably the reason you thought the drumming sucked is that it was mixed so low you couldn't hear the snare 100% of the time, nor were my blastbeats that fast.
In fact, I have a theory. You didn't listen to it. There are several sections when the bass does several "lines" that you can easily hear due to the dissonance with the wash of guitars.
Besides, you posted not long after I posted the "free stuff" thing, and it took CowsCanBark, who has fast internet, a half an hour or so to download it. The whole thing is 24 minutes long, so I am thinking you didn't listen to it.

Drum machines usually sound fake.

Your respect means nothing to me. You're the biggest egocentric asshole I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. And yes, I did lie. If you would like to know the truth, I pretty much laughed at all the recordings you sent me. The only reason I told you I liked them is so we didn't get into a big sparring match, not unlike the one we're currently involved in.
And the drumming sucked, not because it was low, but becasue it sucked.

Egocentric asshole? Elitist? Look who's talking. For most of the time I've been in the metal hell, I've been the exact opposite. I've always been the one who's urged the rest to let in the dude who listened to metalcore and shit, and I've even ended a few fights. Why I'm laughing right now is because you're the biggest hypocrite ever. You're a giant fucking elitist, you're kinda egocentric, and you never do your research. Ever. If you're gonna go ahead and insult somebody, pick the right person. If I could describe myself using any word, "elitist" would NEVER be one of them.
Also, let me put it this way, referring to drum machines and your "black metal", though I hate to call it that, seeing as it's terribly unoriginal, utilizing about 3 minor chords used a million times already, using a drum machine, which totally distracts me and got my potential woody limp.
Would you rather have a good looking blow up doll, or an average looking chick? I'd rather have an average looking chick. Sorry.
