And to the new guy here, very 80's and powerful tastes here. Its nice for a change. But yeah try out Venom and Overkill (best Overkill song, devil by the tail, is AMAZING), and also Primal Fear (if you like judas priest you gonna love the 5th and 6th track of the cd Black Sun).

New guy - Iced Earth is decent power metal too...Alice in Chains is a decent band, IMO, but Cantrell is not the best guitarist ever, IMO.

Some of my fav Power Metal:
Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Demons & Wizards, Primal Fear, DragonForce, Masterplan, Mystic Prophecy, 3 Inches Of Blood, Dream Evil, Hammerfall, Helloween... The list goes on and on.

Hell yes, a Metal Hell album sounds like it would completely rule.

Overkill's Killbox 13 is pretty good, but personnaly their older stuff, especially their first two albums and The Years of Decay, are simply the greatest.

metal hell CD... sounds awsome. I can play guitar, and Im going to school soon for a recording arts degree.
