I used to be with it. Then they changed what it was.
Now what I'm with isn't it and what's it seems weird and scary to me.
It'll happen to you!
Song I am currently listening to at the moment. Love me some Wodos.

Have any of you guys listened to the HEALTH x Lamb of God Collab?
You know who really needs to make new music? Melechesh. Their last album in 2015 still rules.

I'm normally not that big a Lamb of God fan, but that song was fun.

Absolutely! The Epigenesis is one of my all-time favourite metal albums and I have such a biased love towards it!

How about some Mongolian folk metal? I think so. And none of that The Hu shit. Fuck those assholes. We're talking OG Mongolian folk metal.

A sad reminder that Necrophagist will never release a third album

After two and a half years, I finally was able to see a concert last night with Judas Priest and Queensryche. Originally, this concert was supposed to be Judas Priest and Sabaton back in the summer. But, the lead guitarist for Priest's heart exploded and the tour was delayed. By the time it got rescheduled, Sabaton was already doing their own tour. So...Queensryche it was. Despite having seen Queensryche three times now, they're usually not my jam (I always see them incidentally, like they open for someone or something) but I was so happy to be back to live music, I was super happy. That said, I would have much rather preferred Sabaton.
The first time I saw Judas Priest back in 2015, it was incredibly disappointing. Halford couldn't hit the high notes and didn't sing any of the choruses to any song. Basically, all I wanted from this show was for Halford to sing all of Painkiller and hit the high notes in the chorus. Thankfully, he did and it completely made my night. His voice while not what it used to be was far stronger than it was in 2015, so that was good.
It was weird to be back at a concert, especially an arena show. But I was super happy I was there.

He told me during a NYC Summer Slaughter tour date in 2009 that the third album was meant to be some kind of concept album, then all of a sudden the band just disappeared and I never saw them again. I will distance myself from all of the rumors in the air because I've heard them all too.
I can only hope that a comeback eventually happens and things get back in order. Music is a tough business, and death metal especially is not profitable. Other things in life are forced to take precedence.

If you like tech death, check out Inhumano. They have one album and it's really good

I listened to several of their songs and have largely positive impressions. Too bad it looks like I won't be able to see them unless they reform and tour, likely as an opener for a bigger band.

First posted here on page 7. Listened to some right bollocks them days. Children of Bodom and Arch Enemy and shit
Seeing as it was recently 4/20, we're getting a studio version of this long circulated unofficially released Sleep song through Third Man Records' vault subscription service re-issue of Dopesmoker. I can't think of much other unreleased Sleep/Asbestosdeath stuff that hasn't gotten an actual official release after this.
I’ve been getting really into Red Fang recently. They’re like a less technical/progressive Mastodon
Trevor Strnad is dead. the black dahlia murder was one of my favorite metal bands and one of the bands that got me into more extreme metal. he had a great vocal style of combining high pitched shrieking with deep growling and was also a very talented lyricist, and their albums were just consistently great, dont know if they will keep going after this.
i saw accept and bullet for my valentine. it was pretty sick
