I work and have a lady that take up much of my time, but I try to post here when I find the time. I'm also composing a lot of music for the unnamed future album after Infected Nuclear Bioromance. Think Halo + Resident Evil at a black metal rave and that about sums up the atmosphere I'm going for. More technical than past releases, the next offering should be fun.

Also, here's another funny pic:

Very nice, I only saw it once or twice on eBay before, and it was vinyl versions for $50 or so.

You're all obviously ignorant about music composition or won't listen to these 'wankery' bands to get it. This club is put in a box, and it does not deliver the goods. It's as shallow as a toddler's swimming pool. You guys think music is something that it's not. It's not a RPG circle-jerk clique.

I've said all I need to say, and what you really need to do is smoke a big joint and listen to a Meshuggah album. May the metal gods have mercy upon your wretched souls.

Oh boy, I could understand your defensive stance on Djent if you were not so utterly ridiculous expressing your opinion. Just because your music is in reversed augmented 7/58, that doesn't mean it's good. And I am even a fan of some djent bands that sound promising to me like TesseracT, Vildhjarta, Drewsif Stalin's Musical Endeavors, some Periphery, Meshuggah and I won't say Animals As Leaders because I don't consider them Djent, and even Tosin Abasi denies that. Also, if Djent's fanbase is made of people with a similar arrogant mentality, man, I would be ashamed to play Djent.

And also, it shows a weak and closed mind to restrict your taste to Djent, a cheesy subgenre which is nothing but a metal fashion (in my opinion it is metal, I'm sorry if you don't agree Metal Hell members) that will end/ is already ending. And the truth is, most Djent bands are just copying Meshuggah or themselves with typical groovy tunes with odd time signatures, chaotic sound and some jazz licks that eventually start sounding the same and getting laughable. Nevertheless, I must admit that most djent guitar players and drummers have astounding skills, badly availed, but astounding.

It's totally the same shit that happened with mallcore, nu metal and well well, we must admit it happened with almost every single metal/fake metal subgenre. What is good about it, is that only the good and original bands will survive.

It's also very disrespectful to diss the tastes of others, and if you don't feel comfortable here in Metal Hell, you have a quick, easy and functional solution: leave it and live a happy and fulfilling life.

Also, you lost your credibility when you said all we need to do is smoke a joint and listen to Meshuggah, yeah because the only bloody way you can enjoy Djent is on drugs... Please dude... That's such a childish attitude. And what the actual fuck are those metal gods you talk about, are you 14 years old? Because that's the kind of shit I would say if I was 14 years old... I even prevented myself from responding to you when you were defending Djent expecting you wouldn't be such an arsehole about it. I was wrong, just fucking leave this place, you're a plague.

I think I've listened to every album by Edguy.

Theater of Salvation
Tinnitus Sanctus
Mandrake
Rocket Ride
Age of the Joker
The Savage Poetry
Vain Glory Opera
Hellfire
Kingdom of Madness

Did I miss any? I can't get enough Edguy. I'm really into the fantasy-metal genre, so if you know other bands that play this, please let me know. Thanks.

Well if you act like an asshole to someone you're probably going to get an asshole response, that's the way of the world.

Are you seriously still swinging at me like that? You sound like a fuckin' teenager in a schoolyard trying to pick a fight with the nice guy. You've been the asshole the whole fucking time. You've insulted not just me, but every single actual and past member of the Metal Hell. I seriously recommand you leave.

The 3 or 4 times I've looked for it on eBay there was only the newest Heavy Rocks. And I'd love to get a Boris shirt, I just never managed to find any. As for New Album and Attention Please, I don't plan on buying these albums. Not that they're bad, but I'd invest on albums I like a lot more before getting those.

I don't know if they're getting the money or if it's some kind of third party making huge profit on their art. The latest would suck badly. Talking about third parties and music bands. Ulver came out on Facebook with a post complainning about bootleg t-shirts of their kvlt albums, and have finaly decided because of the users comments to start making officials of these records again. Which is fucking amazing :) I'll most likely get myself a Nattens Madrigal t-shirt. I'd be grim as all hell!

Edguy's discography

If you're missing anything, it's going to be on Metal Archives. I'm very happy that you liked my recommandation :) If you like Edguy, Tobias Sammet (Edguy's vocalist) has another project named Avantasia. I've not heard the most recent album and The Scarecrow is cheesy as fuck... but the two first albums The Metal Opera and The Metal Opera Pt. II are probably in the vein of what you are looking for.

Also, Helloween has released two epic albums, Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I and Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II. In fact, we could pretty much just say that the KotSK albums are what inspired Sammet to do his metal operas.

I've recommanded Rhapsody Of Fire earlier to another member who asked for epic stuff. I don't know them very well, but I know they're an epic band two. Check them out :)

That would suck if its just third parties making all the profits off of their stuff. I mean Bongripper deserve to get the money they earned from the albums (and various other things like that Live At Roadburn album) they made.

You know... when you just start reading stuff on the internet, and you just click hyperlinks, google some stuff, search for music on YouTube and end up reading so much information on so many things. Well tonight I've gotten myself some links to download albums by the bands Gallhammer and Abigail, and at some point I was reading Varg Vikernes version of what happenned with Euronymous on his personnal website. If you have the time to read it, please do so. It's just scary how innocent and pure he likes to presents himself. Reading through that story, murdering the guy almost comes out as the natural and correct thing to do. And now, I'm listenning to The Mantle by Agalloch. Makes me feel better after reading all that stuff.

I've read that some time ago and also his opinion on anti-racism, I immediately ran away from his site, it's sick material... What a waste of words. Well, it helped me to present a work about the Norwegian Black Metal scene on the topic of subcultures and such.

How much were the Acid Bath albums?

I am currently waiting til Baroness' new live EP comes out for me to get some new vinyl.
Though it does come out towards the end of next month so I could always see if I can order some more between now and then.
I was looking at some Pentagram vinyls on Relapse too....dunno what I should get though. And I'm considering bidding on a test pressing of III by Acid King on eBay. It's only up to like $11 and theres a little over a day left on it.

Nice. I never see any stuff by Acid Bath around here....the closest record store is like 3 towns away and they don't have much there when it comes to Metal music. Though they DID have a couple Electric Wizard albums. It's seriously the only place I've seen near me that sells stuff by Electric Wizard.

I'd say go for it. Acid King is awesome and it's not like you can find another test pressing of III for $12 anytime you feel like it.

Indeed they are. And I suppose you're right about not being able to find another test pressing of that for that cheap.
So I guess I'll bid on it.
