Anthology is still an eyesore but at least it's not vile like Shitfun. Infact, I can even tolerate Cannibal Corpse album covers before I can even accept that abomination.
Well, some of Cannibal Corpse's covers actually have some kind of appeal. You can have an horror/gore theme and still have a nice cover. I kind of like the Tomb of the Mutilated cover. Eaten Back to Life also has that goofy Evil Dead kind of horror look that makes it cool.
Conveniently enough, I like Eaten Back to Life more than their other records. The first two songs alone make it worth it for me. I still wonder why this isn't part of my collection when it at least deserves to be there.
Black one easily looks better. I actually would like to have that Master of Reality T-Shirt. It does work.
Most likely going for the black one. The other one is not a standard "black" metal t-shirt and this is why I thought it could be cool to get it.
The white on the other one just makes it stick out like a sore thumb. The black T-Shirt and the Master of Reality logo is one of the coolest things you can possibly have.

I just went from one end of the spectrum to the other. I always loved music that had crescendos and was dynamically interesting more than anything, but it's just a case of going from distorted Metal stuff to softer, lovelier sounding things. I suppose Post-Rock is my thing nowadays, and "Alternative" stuff (such a shit name for a genre) like Bat for Lashes, newer Raidohead.
Can't go wrong with some Radiohead.
Gigs are too sweaty and short lived for me. I love spending a weekend away from civilisation surrounded by friends and music/comedy/art/partying. Beats spending two and a half hours getting home from Manchester after each gig. I see them as mini-holidays more than anything.
You're from Blackpool, aren't you? Surely there's a convenient train that goes directly to Manchester from there.
Have you been to any? I remember you've had that attitude for a while, just wondering if you ever bobbed alone to Download, or Bloodstock or whatever?
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't have minded going to Bloodstock last year. The line-up then was really good but my sister was low on funds so we had to miss out on it. It's funny to say that now since she's the one with the job and I'm the one with low income.

Had a arguement with a friend over Budgie, if they are metal or not. You guys argee with me that they are?
This is a wobbler; like Rush, they have had their metal moments, but spend a lot of time as a hard/progressive rock band. I can see arguments for both sides, and I wouldn't blame you for taking either position.
Eh, what the hell, let's just say they are.
Yeah, MA are actually fine with having Rush and Budgie on there. They do have their grand moments of metal which is something no metal fan can deny. My very first exposure to Rush was 2112 so you can imagine how amazed I was when I got to hear it.
