Yeah, I saw it. From what I here it is supposed to look like a throwback to their first couple album covers. Which.....I am not that big a fan of. But, based on the actualy music I have heard, it sounds pretty good. I can overlook a shitty album cover for that.

Yeah, I did hear. As a huge Star Wars nerd, I was hesitantly optimistic. But then some info got leaked that they are not going to base it off of any existing Expanded Universe material. Which makes me nerd rage like nothing else. We are seriously going to ignore the Thrawn trilogy, or the Yuzhan Vong War? BAH!

At least with the album covers for the first few didn't look like they were thrown together on Paint or had to use lazy effects like gradients. There is actual merit to them unlike this. I will say that the one song I've heard from Target Earth so far is good so I would like to pick up the new album, even if it means to have an ugly artwork like that in my CD collection.

Buying Chthonic's "Takasago Army" album was the best decision I've made in years. I got the Taiwanese version and I am absolutely in love with them. I never knew Taiwan can make some of the best black metal I've ever heard.

I'm sure people here have heard of them or listen to them. Any input?

They actually didn't have that much gore in their lyrics, most of their songs are about social/personal themes.

Me and my sister even agreed to take a shot for each time someone asked if we were someone from KISS. She went as Demonaz. This isn't the first time I've gone as Abbath and I'd like to try out something different next year. Here's one picture of me as Abbath.

Yeah I dont think I could pull off corpse paint. Mostly because I dont know where I could get that stuff at. And I would look REALLY weird wearing that hahaha. I also don't know how i could get my facial hair to work with that. I mean yeah I know there are people that wear that and have beards and/or mustaches and whatnot but.....yeah.......

Twice I had assistance just to put the corpse paint on. I have no experience in face painting so I'd make a huge mess if I tried it myself. I tend to have itchy skin so trying to not scratch off any of the face paint was a real challenge. By 6 in the morning you can tell how worn out the paint was.

That would be hard if it was the only one around. This one I go to occasionally sadly plays nu-metal and metalcore but they can still play a lot of good music throughout the night. They even did play an Immortal song when I went with Abbath's corpse paint. Who knows, maybe I inspired the DJ.
