He's just spamming the hell.
Ahh i finaly got my bass...well im pretty shit. Lol. To help the learning process ive started trying to write songs, hopefuly this will help me. I wrote like 12 lyrics to songs a while back so i will be using those lyrics. So yea just messing around with vocals/bass and drum machine (hopefuly) so yeh im hoping it will turn into some realy weird ass grind :)
Just had to say that..im excited that im finaly able to put music behind my gory, disgusting lyrics :P
Too much spam and shit....Like three posts (even that copied-and-pasted metal list, despite its pertinence) too many...
Too bad my posts arent much better....My friend's band put out a new demo, its good, but its mainstream rock (wanted to feel a part of the small band scene, sorry) so I guess there's no point in me writing about it.

anyone here like rammstein?
Yes I do, I'll be honest
They're the only mainstream band I like anyway, but I'm not a poser that believes that Rammstein is "Dark Metal" or some other idiot label they came up with, I just like their super simplistic industrial (ROCK! not metal!) sound every now and then

They're rock, not metal. I don't really listen to em much, but they have no place in a metal thread.
Hey guys, I'm almost done with the "Irrecoverable" demo for God Was Created. I'll put everything online as soon as I'm done. Just finished to vocal track for "Degeneration of the Human Race" and honestly, I use NO pitchshifter, but i'm amazed myself with how DEEP i can actually growl without sounding indecipherable.

Cool. Death grunts are fun.
Anywho, I finished KY's debut. Anybody who wants a copy pays me 10$ via paypal, money order, or check and I'll give you the shipping cost.
And I'm working on the split with Naked Souls. In addition to the closer, which is a somber piece called Grief (Rain On My Ashes), I started a song called Love (Is Pain). It starts with keyboards, a bit of Ulveresque noise, and my doing, in my opinion, some of the best singing I've ever done (WillPostForFood can attest to that).
And remember how I said there would be less industrial influence in this CD? I lied. But it is still gonna be more metal and harder, it's just gonna be a broader album.
Has anyone heard of the Music Genome Project? Basically, you input the name of a band and it lets you listen to music by similiar artists judging by different aspects of the band's musical style. I was actually quite surprised at how extensive their database is. They don't have too much, but it's a lot more than I expected. I doubt they'll have anything a lot of you haven't heard before, but it's been indispensible for a metal n00b such as myself.

I've been using it in concert with the archives. Both are awesome. I've been finding upwards of seven or eight new bands a day using both of them.

nice to see the metal hell is back onto popularity since the last time i checked like 3 months ago. i got some new bands that i recently got into like Job for a Cowboy, Behemoth, Bleeding Through, 4 King Studs, As I Lay Dying, Meshuggah, A Dozen Furies, and God Forbid. Am I on the right track?
Heys guys, any of you into Pestilence? Awesome oldschool death/thrash. Sadly, they split up a long time ago.
