Thanks :) The new stuff is going to sound a little different, though. You'll hear. I'll post a sample as soon as possible, the members of this club will be the first to hear it :)
Hey Goatchrist I finally downloaded some of your band's stuff. That is some seriously dark shit dude, great work ;)

Thanks, the feedback is appreciated ;) the new stuff is IMO the strongest stuff i wrote yet...can't wait to finish the recordings myself :P
my fav. album of 05 is probably a tie between sargeist, 1349, hypocrisy, and belphegor. those are all really good albums and i cant really choose which one is the best, imo. as for gcs band, from what ive heard, the band sounds amazing. really dark, too. hopefully ill find some way of getting the ep.

Yeah.. a little mainstream, but the shit is amazing. Am I alone on this opinion? Or are there any non-megaxtreme metal lovers in this club also?
Hehe dont worry man i like KSE a lot too. Didnt know they had a DVD comin out ill have to get it some day. Whats it got on it?

I like Killswitch Engage fine, although their old stuff is much better.
Even though its old, I've heard Come Clarity, and I do think its better then thier last two IMO, but not nearly as good as Whoracle or Jester Race...

Can't wait to hear it. My new album is even STRONGER than my last album. It's a concept album, and the songs sorta flow into each other. It's really nice.
I can't wait to hear what direction you're gonna go in.

I do not like metalcore, period. KsE is no exception. And I don't like LOG, Shadows Fall, Atreyu, or Chimaira either. I like my metal heavy and extreme, and I like it unaccessible and unpoisoned by commercialism. (Unless, like CC and Malmsteen and Power metal, it's used for comedic effect.)
Any of you cunts listen to blood duster? Awesome as fuck Australian death/grind band. Funny too

Sounds really nice. What is the concept about?

It's definitely a lot THRASHIER than the rest of my work :) It's really Black/Thrash at times.

Well, the term "concept album" refers to a storyline going throughout the album; it focuses more on the ALBUM as opposed to the songs on it. The concept is similar to A Grand Declaration of War, i.e. post humanity. The whole album is about cataclysmic destruction (Hence Kali Yuga) and the silence thereafter. It's really creepy, dark, and industrial at times. I find my sound moving farther and farther away from Black metal.

You've gotten a new guitar since, haven't you? I'm looking forward to hearing your new production. I can almost smell the riffs.

sounds interesting. Even though I have a hard time to imagine your band with industrial elements :)

Yeah, it definitely sounds more powerful now. If that's the right word :) you'll hear a notable difference. And there will be plenty of riffs :D
Ghoul - Awesome. Actually Im looking for some industrial metal bands (like real ones, although I like them, Rammstein does not qualify in my book at all), and was wondering if anyone knew any good ones...
...not a big fan of industrial, to be honest.
btw, the new Belphegor album is already in production, can't wait to hear the goats again ;)

Well, on In The Winter Lies The Warmth I unleashed a flurry of industrial elements, especially on songs like "The Voice of Biran", "Dreams of When Light Shone Through", and "Beyond the Fear and Snowfall."
But yeah, this new release will definitely be more industrial sounding than the last. Only in the fact that the keyboards are getting weirder and weirder.
