Why don't you shut the fuck up? You are just looking like a retard again. You don't need to pay money to have an account on Last.Fm. It's free and you can scrobble the tracks from the albums you bought or downloaded. Get your fucking facts straight before you start taunting people like a 13 years old on Xbox Live.

It sure is. I already had to re-listen to some songs on the album after the first listen. I suppose I can get this with some of my 21st birthday money depending on how much I get.

Too bad they only released one album... I've been craving for a second album, for ages !!!

Is there a bad omen for new bands releasing excellent debut albums? First Wintersun, then Blotted Science... Next is Ghost?

The only way you can "waste money" on Last.fm is the subscription. To me, it's nothing special besides seeing who's visited your page.

On his DVD, Ron Jarzombeck explains the structure of the track Oscillation Cycles. Just listenning to the music, you can realise how much of an awesome song-writter and musician he is. But when you really understand the structure, the progression, chord patterns and writting process... you can't do anything else but admit that this guy is a genius.

Actually, based on rumors I've heard, Blotted Science should be releasing an EP this year. Maybe that will satisfy your craving for new Blotted Science.

Also thanks again to Sense-Offender for that great list. I fell in love with Darkestrah.

It's duff, he shouldn't even be a horseman in the first place because he shits his pants over nothing.

He's probably going to respond to this post with an essay about he is oh-so-deserving and how i'm just a dick, when I really just tell things the way they are.

New Dream Theater. Thoughts?

Personally I feel the best thing, by far, in it is the keyboards Rudess has going on. The rest is subpar, but nothing bad.

Yeah, the song is nothing particularly special but maybe it's a grower. I can definitely notice a difference between this and the last two albums. Maybe Dream Theater will take a lighter approach?

I'm having a little bit of a problem. I absolutely fell in love with Darkestrah (thank you Sense-Offender) and I want to buy one of their albums, but none of them are on Amazon.

I know you guys listen to a lot of underground bands, so does anyone know how to purchase an album from a really unpopular band?

So apparently Down is going to release 4 EPs all connected through artwork, I don't know the rate at which they are expected to be released, but the first one is said to be released late 2011. (But I don't think it will get released until at-least 2012.)

anyone else heard about this?

Well, Blotted Science is a supergroup... so they are a lot different then Wintersun. I don't think that Blotted Science ever planned on being a full time band or whatever. I think the whole idea was to release one album and disband. Maybe the big succes of Blotted Science is what made me think that Ron Jarzombeck would go back to this someday.

The only way you can "waste money" on Last.fm is the subscription. To me, it's nothing special besides seeing who's visited your page.

I like last.fm because it keeps track of what you listen to. It's pretty useful to. I found out about a lot of gigs and new bands on that website. Having the chance to chat with people who share similar musical tastes is also a great plus, especially when you know that they could introduce you to a band you could really like. I like to look at my own charts to remember what tracks I used to listen to a lot, and maybe go back to them. See... I think it's a great tool for those who have a big musical library, because sometimes I forget about some artists I really like and last.fm helps me keep things organized :)

I suggest you guys go an look at almost all the posts smeagol1 intended to me and realise that he's always the one who's acting like a stupid 13 years old 4chan troll. He's always trying to diss me, and just look at how he reacted to all the attention we got from this stupid fight. Also, don't tell me that "I reacted just the way he wanted me to", because he obviously didn't knew he was just plain wrong (again). He was just throwing insults at me (again)... convinced that he was right.

I really like how you keep bringing this back every chance you get. You are so stubborn...
I'm not pissed off, I'm not angry, stop assuming I'm angry only cause I insult a kid who's always looking for a fight.

He's probably going to respond to this post with an essay about he is oh-so-deserving and how i'm just a dick, when I really just tell things the way they are.

You make it sound like this is an obvious and objective fact. A lot of people have showed support to me, and I was elected as an Horseman afterall, I didn't steal this to you. You don't like it, that's fine, but stop whinning about it. It's pretty funny how you only do this when someone else from the Metal Hell is pointing out some kind of "bad behavior" of mine. You only get into this fight when you know there will be people on your side. That's opportunistic... and I don't like it.

Same thing for SomaGuye. No matter what the situation is, if there is a conflict between me and another member, you guys will always go against me without even rationnaly analysing the situation to really understand the matter.

At 6/29/11 03:40 PM, AniMetal wrote: New Dream Theater. Thoughts?

Listenning to it right now. I'm only a few minutes into it, but it's not bad so far :) And judging from the very little I've heard so far, the new drummer is doing a fine job. What do you guys think of him?

I will really have to listen to the whole album, because this one track you provided is pretty cool :)

Hey duff, i'm sorry to call you out like that.

Say what?

Response to Metal Hell 2011-06-30 03:26:48

It's not opportunistic.

It's called always jumping on the right side.

If other people were arguing with you and I felt you were right I would side with you. I have before, like on the Amon Amarth discussion.

As for caring about your horseman position, I really don't. I just think it's funny how the people who supported you all had like 200 posts and were relatively new to the club so yet to have a firm understanding of just how much you like to argue.

Also, I doubt there will ever be a new BS album. They've only actually played twenty or so concerts in what? Four years? haha

And these members are still around, for the most part. They were not some of these guys who post three times and disappear. They also were not "that new". Sure they were the members who joinned the club the most recently, but most of them had been around for more then 2 months or so, and I post on a regular basis. So they had plenty of time to read my posts and other members posts. And then, they decided to vote for me. Was I deserving? I don't know. But I'm there anyway, and I don't think I'm doing an horrible job. Sure I get into arguments every now and then. But what's so wrong about it? Maybe if I was fighting everybody all the time, you would have a good reason to complain. But what I did right there, and that is now turning into a shitstorm, was just answering smeagol the exact same way he adressed me. Yeah yeah, I should have been a lot more "mature" and just ignored his post. That's what I do most of the time... but this time I guess it did bother me to read such stupid shit.

Also, I doubt there will ever be a new BS album. They've only actually played twenty or so concerts in what? Four years? haha

I don't know if I'm right... but I thought Ron Jarzombeck really never played a lot of concerts... Plus Blotted Science always looked more like a studio band then a live band to me... Just like Liquid Tension Experiment, Blotted Science is a supergroup. And just like LTE, they don't play a lot of gigs. That didn't stop LTE from writting and releasing two albums.

Has anyone else checked out the new Mastodon single that's free to download on Adult Swim?

I haven't listened to a lot of Mastodon but it sounded like something on Crack the Skye

Apparently it's not going to be on the new album though

Response to Metal Hell 2011-06-30 04:28:51

I don't think any of BS's members particularly enjoy playing concerts, nor do they have the time, but Blotted Science has played shows before.

I know they play one or two european festivals each year.

I also know that back in, I think, 2008 they did an eleven show US/Canada tour.

That all aside, I don't think they've really played any shows. So like I said, about twenty total.

My sister managed to find someone who she met at the Opeth concert on Last.fm. It turns out the same person might be seeing Judas Priest live in Manchester.

Because I have very low self esteem so making other people feel bad makes me feel better about myself.
