All deathcore and metalcore is shit.
It's just slightly different colored shit.
Yeah right...
No, it is pretty right.
The difference between metalcore and deathcore: Metalcore is cleaner, actually uses clean vocals and occasionally has guitar solos. Deathcore is nothing but CHUGGA CHUG, uses little-to-no clean vocals and never uses guitar solos.
Basically, they're both shit - just different colored shit.
BTBAM is basically the only decent core band, and the only thing really core about them is their vocals.
Falsetto you mean? Totally bullshit, I see you've listened to the ONE and only powerglove song that uses vocals...
Where do you see that? I've listenned to a few songs by them on YouTube. Sorry if I over-exagerated.
One song uses vocals. That's it.
And AAL don't fit on ANY of the tours they open for. Underoath? Escape The Fate? Summer Slaughter tour? What the fuck?
I think they can fit in a lot of spots, for the reasons I've already stated.
You know... progressive, technical metalish music.... scene kid music... fits SO well together. Amirite?
I hate it when people call pglove power metal, they're not really any select genre of metal. They're just video game music played on guitars and drums. -.-
Maybe I really don't know them enough. But do you really think they should be on that tour?
Powerglove isn't a "power metal band".
Powerglove is a band that can open for ANY band, whether it be sonata arctica, kreator, escape the fate, mastodon, whatever and no matter what appeal to people.
If someone likes metal? If someone likes really technical instrumental? If someone likes video games? They will like powerglove.
Go on the powerglove forum, i'd say 60% of that forum's users aren't even metalheads. (or if they are, they're more of the mainstream kind)
it's called "leaving early".
Considering the fact that they will most likely play BEFORE Fleshgod Apocalypse, I would have to watch them anyway. And I really don't feel like breathing the same air these fucking emo wimps with fringes will breath.
BDM and Whitechapel are the headliners, Fleshgod Apocalypse is one of the openers. what the fuck are you talking about?
Just go to the show, and leave after fleshgod apocalypse, dying fetus, powerglove and six feet under...
I loved this album by Equilibrium. Once you've gotten familiar with Sagas, I suggest you...
To be honest, Sagas is pretty much the only Equilibrium album worth physically buying.
Not to say that their other stuff is bad, it's just not as fulfilling to listen to.

while they're prog-metalcore (or even mathcore) has anyone listened to Protest the Hero's new CD Scurrilous?
I will, actually. Even if a lot of people in here hate all forms of metalcore, I think some of their stuff is quite enjoyable :)
TesseracT are opening for PTH early next month, and while i'm not even that big of a TesseracT fan the show is only 12 bucks and I have a friend who wants to go - so i'm probably going to go.
If PTH is anything like the good things I always hear about them, then I should have fun.
