Thrash and Heavy Metal. Since we are talking about subgenres, I was wondering, if you guys can recommend me some bands of simphonic metal, I was listening Epica (I love this band) and I am a little new in that subgenre. I want to listen more. Thanks.
After Forever is another band in that genre, their last two albums are decent but nothing really special. Everything they've released before that though is amazing.

Anyway, Thrash for me, I love bands like Skeletonwitch that use harsh vocals in thrash, sounds so good, but Municipal Waste are my favourite thrash band :3
To be honest, i've always considered Municipal Waste, D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, etc. more punk bands than thrash metal bands.

Night On Broken - Iron Maiden Worship
I'm still wondering how bad the album really is to some. If it's got a strong Maiden/Priest-vibe, I get the feeling I'll enjoy it.
It's not bad, it's just 100% iron maiden worship.
And to be honest, I actually highly dislike all iron maiden outside of Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son and Somewhere In Time.

Beyond Twilight is a great symphonic metal band.
I wouldn't call them symphonic metal, at all. The Devil's Hall Of Fame is just power metal, and everything after that is more progressive metal with power metal influences.
Amazing band though, everyone check them out!

I'm still curious, what would you consider "power metal with balls." The only two I can think of are Sabaton and Persuader. Possibly Gamma Ray.
grave Digger, blind guardian, oldschool helloween, oldschool fates warning, primal fear, etc.

Yea man forgot about them, my mate is a huge Kreator fanboy and got me to listen to a few songs, I have a compilation thrash album and it has some Kreator on it, it's pretty smexy.
Yeah man they are awesome. You should listen to a little more of them, I guarantee you will be impressed. A few tracks like "Enemy of God" and "Violent Revolution" are just orgasmic live. Wacken, to be precise.
Extreme Aggressions is their best album, no doubt. :P
Love Us Or Hate Us should seriously be as popular of a song as the toxic waltz or something, so incredible!

Anyone else here a fan of Melechesh?
Yup, i'm seeing them with Rotting Christ, Hate, Abigail Williams and Pathology in march. Maybe, it depends if I have the money to be honest. (i've already seen every band on the lineup once before except Melechesh)

has anyone ever met any musicians from a concert you were at? whether it be for a signing or chance luck.
Oh man, I don't even know where to start - i've meet so many lesser bands and have so many stories.
I suppose the most epic are:
3.) After seeing Pro-Pain, Sworn Enemy(LOL) and Mantic Ritual in 2008, mantic ritual gave me a ride home and a free t-shirt in exchange for letting them crash at my house.
2.) Hanging out with the guys in Sonata Arctica after their headline show here in april, I hung out with them for about two hours. :D
1.) Getting to meet and talk to all the guys in Slayer, Megadeth and Testament this summer at the american carnage tour. (although, this was expensive as fuck to do - it was worth it)

Like Ani would be the expert thrash member.
Isn't AniMetal the Power Metal guy in here? Or more like... Speed, Thrash, Power stuff and the like?
Kind of. I'm basically wicked into a lot of metal.
I'm wicked into power, thrash, progressive, oldschool death, sludge, doom, avant-garde and folk. Haha

i like Children of Bodom Mothafuckers
In my book, children of bodom is worse than slipknot. Why?
Slipknot don't steal riffs, bash other bands for no reason, get wasted on stage and they didn't become famous because they look like pornstars.
Slipknot suck, but in my opinion COB are a million times worse. (COB's first album is decent though)

When did thrash metal experts hate Metallica and Slayer?
I love metallica, what are you on about?
RTL, MOP and AJFA = incredible
KEA, the black album, death magnetic = Decent (death magnetic took me a long time to get into, I remember before I started liking it having a argument with you about it. So I can see why you think this)
Everything else = LOL worthy
Slayer I only got into about four or five months ago, but even now that I DO like them I still think they're highly overrated and that their are COUNTLESS better thrash metal bands.
