I've read about this. They even have signs saying not to kill yourself, and some people go there looking for corpses to loot.

Id actually like to find a human skull to add to my collection of animal skulls and such. Even though they are human remains I would love to have a human skull, I remember hearing that King Diamonds Mic with the crucifix made out of bones is actually human bones. Is this true?

It is true actually :P. He's one crazy mofo. But why you want a human skull? Unless you're crazy like King.

You won't find any skulls in that forest. All you could find there is rotten corpses. And I fucking swear that, as far as you are fascinated with death, you won't like it :)

So grim.......
Very grim. So grim it's crazy.
I'm listening to The Sword's new album "Warp Riders" for the first time sober. It's pretty good and I enjoy it. Just not as much as I enjoyed it when I was high.

Duff, I never told you the story of me sawing the head off a severly decomposing deer have I? I currently have a deer head rotting away in a bucket in the woods hanging in a tree.

You are so grim... and so kvlt...
Rotten corpses have much more to do with death than skulls. Skulls are related to life more than death, whereas rotten corpses aren't related to life in any way.

That doesn't make any kind of sense... at all...
Anyway...
I am definitely a fan of Ron Jarzombek! Every project he worked on is amazing :)
Blotted Science, Spastic Ink, Gordian Knot, his solo project. The guy is simply amazing !!!

To be, or not to be. That, is the question.

It makes sense to me. At least, in the way I'm thinking about it. This could be totally different from how Delirium is thinking of it.
Skulls are kind of Life's version of death. We, the living, fetishize and romanticize death with the skull as its symbol. They're nice and clean. However, something actually dead, a rotting corpse, is the reality of death. It's gross and stinky and unhygienic and that's what death is. Skulls are just our way of making ourselves feel better about death.

Skulls are things that keep humans alive, rotting only happens after you die. Skulls have just become a symbol of death for some reason, though they don't have any more to do with death than a leg or an arm.
Your corpse doesn't rot for no reason. It rots so it can go back to nature. So in a way, it's still linked to life. And the skull alone, is in no way a symbol of life, even if it's a part of the human body. If I post the picture of an anus, you won't think "life" first... You will think "shit". If I show you the picture of a skull, you won't think "life". Cause you don't usually see the skull of someone who's alive...

Btw, I didn't say "it doesn't make sense" to this. I said that it doesn't make sense to say that the skull is more linked to life then the rotten corpse. However, my first statement has nothing to do wih this. I was just saying that his passion for death would find a limit when he would encounter a rotten corpse. Not because rotten corpse wouldn't be linked to death... of course, but because a lot of people will think something is really cool until they encounter the real thing.
So em... let's not get all confused with this shit...

Yeah, I mean, I don't think smeagol's "obsession with death" is really worth arguing about anyway.

Okay then !!
Looking at my most recent charts on last.fm, I realise that I'm having a Prog fever.
Any suggestions based on the things I'm listenning to lately?
Symphony X - The Walls of Babylon

No he did. That was originally a point about how it'd be easy to replace Mike with another drummer. Dent's point was that Mike is more than just a good drummer in regards to Dream Theater.

Is a fascination with death ever not morbid?
And lol, 'rotting corpses aren't a good symbol of death'.
So, I said yesterday I was enjoying Vitalij Kuprij, but listening to him more, I'm finding how annoying and hokey his keyboard playing can be. Some of the stuff is cool, though. I heard a song using part of Moonlight Sonata with Michael Romeo on guitar that started out cool until the keys changed sound and got out of hand. It started to sound like something from a Sega Genesis game sped up.

I believe remains can (or could at a time) be found there, sometimes bones/skulls tinted green from moss or what have you, though I may be mistaken.
But uh...that's pretty kooky.

good that you got around to checking out Gordian Knot. The self-titled album is great, though I'm pretty sure Ron is only on one track. They had other impressive guests as well, such as John Myung and Steve Hackett. They even got one of the best drummers ever, Bill Bruford as a member. Sean Malone is good on bass in this project, but his solo album, Cortlandt, not so much.

You have to hear Apokatastasia. awesome, mostly instrumental, prog metal with beautiful violin playing.
Have you listened to Vanden Plas, yet? I like them, especially Far Off Grace and Christ.0. definitely the soft side of prog metal, though.
SO it's offical as of later afternoon. HAPPY VAGINAL SECRETION DAY TO ME!!!! ;D %u2665

Even if Ron is not the one playing. If he got involved in the project, I know it's worth it. But I'd like to know who's playing on each tracks. You know where I could find the exact line-up for each tracks?

Thanks for the suggestions dude :) I will try to get my hands on some of their work, starting with Vanden Plas, it will probably easier to find.

Wow... another "metalhead" who can't listen to anything else than MTV metal bands... I hate it when douche bags like you think they can leave comments, and actully think that people will take them seriously.
Anyway, make a list of 10 metal bands you like, or get the fuck out.
