Lol, they say they're influenced by Paramore, I just downloaded one of their over 6 hours song, I don't believe I will listen to the whole song, it's like listening to 6 regular albums in one song but ok... no... it's not ok... it's an abuse... I don't understand, there's no need of making a song that long, in my opinion it will repeat a lot... I found it an abuse the music "Dopethrone" by Sleep lasting over one hour, but now this? What the fuck?

Well... I will just shut up and listen to it...

The overall sound is raw and very powerful and the production is just right. As for vocals it has Mr. Hustler, nuff said ;p

Overall I agree it's a fantastic album I think I like it more than their newest and my favourite track being Razor Jack; such a catchy tune. :D

I asked cause I know Altered Genesis is your favorite album. I think AWTS is a great album, almost as good as Altered Genesis if not as good. It's their two greatest albums... Come Death is good for bass, drums and vocals. Guitars are ok, not as good as on the other albums. Souls Of Damnation is still better than Come Death, but it's not AWTS or Altered Genesis :P

I love Blood Red Throne, and I think Affiliated With The Suffering is their best album yet. Highly technical and enjoyable, and listened to it for about 17 hours until I finally decided to listen to other stuff. Still really can't find a major fault with it.

I think these two albums are their best :P

I was pushing this band on people a year or so ago. good stuff, especially the song Freakshow. I don't have the album with Faded, though. I want that one. The bass in that song is pretty cool.

THE FINAL FRONTIER
1. Satellite 15....The Final Frontier 8:40
2. El Dorado 6:49
3. Mother Of Mercy 5:20
4. Coming Home 5:52
5. The Alchemist 4:29
6. Isle Of Avalon 9:06
7. Starblind 7:48
8. The Talisman 9:03
9. The Man Who Would Be King 8:28
10. When The Wild Wind Blows 10:59

This album really looks like its going to suck, based on the song names, lengths and cover art.

Don't judge a book by its cover. I still have high expectations for this album and I expect some epicness from the last track. August will definitely be a great month for me with Blind Guardian's new album (should be out in the UK on the 2nd) and this album.

It will most likely be pretty standard stuff. They've already released one song, but it was just a bit ago, and their website is really crowded.

So Eddie's a space alien now?

I don't see why not. After all, he's been many things in the past including a pharaoh.

So i'm listening to Iron Maiden's new song, El Dorado.
It's pretty lame. Boring riff, standard gallop structure, just a dull song overall.

Well, I wouldn't judge it by the song lengths, their last album had a lot of really song and the album clocked in at about 70 minutes, but it was still a fantastic album, one of their best in years. I still have high hopes, and I'll keep them, thank you.

Well I'm not familiar with all of eddie's looks considering he looks different in every picture, but wasn't pharaoh eddie still recognizable as eddie? I honesty didn't even realize that was supposed to be eddie.

Mayhem

Napalm Death + Dying Fetus

Touring Australia. I've already spent $315 on tickets so far this year ($150 Metallica, $130 Muse, $35 Daysend/Switchblade/Mortal Sin/etc).

But I really wanna go see Napalm Death just so I can say I've heard 'You Suffer' live.

At least you've given the song a try. Personally, I really like it but I can't help but think that Bruce sounds rather tired here. Still, the rest of the album will be worth listening to.

A Matter of Life and Death was a hit and miss for fans. Some really liked it but others weren't too fond of it. Myself, I thought it was a good album but not the best of new Maiden.

Are you talking about the Eddie on Powerslave or The Final Frontier? If it was the latter, I can't see why that can't be recognised as Eddie. The appearance is still alike to the other Eddies and the only other time I can recall a sci-fi themed Eddie was for Somewhere in Time.

I dunno, you can kind of tell it's supposed to be him by his eyes, but that's pretty much it. It doesn't really look like any picture Eddie I've seen before.

It's better than The X Factor or Dance of Death, anyway.
