I'm in. I like all kinds of metal pretty much, but my 3 favorite bands are Hammerfall, Slayer, and Iron Maiden. So my main metal is heavy metal, but black metal and death metal is pretty good too.

I just listen to Kreator, sorry I'm not really into German music, I prefer music from Nordic countries such as Finland, Sweden and Norvegia (if its written like that).

Ahh i really been gettin into death metal a lot lately. Ive aquired some obituary, deicide, cannibal corpse, decapitated, cankered corpse, behemoth, beheaded, hate eternal, morbid angel etc etc... albums. Any comments on these bands? i honestly love them all!

Plus i heard black metal ist krieg by nargaroth, thats a fucking great black metal album.

Their first one... I forget the name... I had a few songs off it burned on to CD... I'm not a Sodom fan yet.

And to Setsuna[numbers], yeah, I knew you'd like em. I got their CD about a yaer ago, and couldn't stop listening to it, and I got it along with Immortal- Blizzard Beasts adn Emperor- Prometheus and the Discipline of Fire and Demise, so that's some huge competition.

I have very few Sodom songs and really don't know the names of the albums they're on, I'll be sure to check them out later

true, very harsh competition.. although (don't flame me) I didn't like Immortal's "Blizzard Beasts" nor "At the Heart of Winter" for some reason.. and strangely enough I DID like "Battles from the North"! =S I feel really weird about it since those three albums have certain similarities in style.. o well, that's just me speaking...

as for Emperor, they're one of my favorite bands, I've liked all their albums, but namely "IX Equilibrium" and my all time favorite "Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk"... VERY good stuff

I agree, although AC/DC are one of my favorite ROCK bands, that does not make them metal, and I cannot let you in on one metal band alone, ESPEICALLY if it is as well known as Metallica... seriously, I have never met anyone in my entire life who has not atleast heard of them. Name a couple more bands, then we shall see if you can get in here.
