He's actually in a hardcore band, Answers(no this isn't a plug, I'm not a big fan of them.) Just listen to Killswitch Engage - Daylight Dies, then listen to Skywalker by Answers, it's more or less exactly the same riff in the beginning.

Man, MA can be rather awkward at times. After resubmitting a review which they rejected due to "bad formatting", they finally get around to managing my review EIGHT DAYS after it was reposted while later reviews were approved. one, listen to the sound of perseverance. that is far more complex than megadeth. two, its not about who can play faster, its about who writes good music, death had completely diverse time signatures and progressions.

in his own words he claims that only thrash is metal. that everything else isn't "real" metal. besides megadeth isn't even that good anymore, there are better thrash bands.

Meh, tough one. Megadeth's structures are more commercial and they have less riffs, plus Megadeth songs got easier as they went whereas Death got harder. Overall it would be harder to learn an album of Death songs compared to Megadeth songs. But Dave is a beast. Eh, but the bass work in Individual Thought Patterns could never be done by any Megadeth bass player, not even Dave. Drum work is more technical and harder than Megadeth. Marty's and Dave's solos are the hardest thing to play in Megadeth songs, but I think Chuck was probably better than both of those guys.

It's true one of the more popular metal bands, Slayer, has a lot of fans but lacks technical skills as much as nigeria lacks food. (there is a little but, but you can't see it).
