So, ignoring all the pathetic melodrama, I've come across two great Power Metal albums. Delirium Veil by Twilightning and Darkness and Light by Scelerata.
Twilightning (who Metal Archives tell me split up last year :[ ) really remind me of bands like Highland Glory and Skylark. They all share the same sort of low-fi, Maiden and Helloween-inspired sound. Scelerata are more varied; some of the songs on Darkness and Light are mid-tempo and heavy and modern-sounding, but there's some lighter and faster classic stuff in there as well. They're a Christian band, so the lyrics are usually as subtle as a brick to the head, but they're still really good. Seriously, their song Wings to Fly is the best fucking song ever. I can't find it on Youtube, but you can preview it on iTunes. I'd strongly recommend it to anyone who loves them some catchy Power Metal.

To be fair, if you ripped up "someones" Bible, you'd be charged with property damage.
