Ryan had some on his post but a better source is their official site where they're asking for auditions. Seriously, though, I may not like them as much now but if anyone here actually does an audition for them, I wish them the best of luck.

Not bad. If you want to join the Metal Hell, you have to list at least 10 of your favorite metal bands. Sensey or someone else credible will determine if your list is good enough.
So, guys, I had three questions that I want your guys' input on:
Question 1: Do you think a lot of the black metal bands just do the whole Satanism routine for image or not?
Question 2: Do you think Metal has sufficiently differentiated from rock as a genre, because the mainstream media always refers to metal as a subgenre of Hard rock?
Question 3: What is your favorite concert you have ever beem to?
Feel free to respond or not, really don't care.
Proud Demon residing in the METAL HELL!
Lay down your soul for the god's rock n' roll!

Yes.

Yes.
Question 3: What is your favorite concert you have ever beem to?
Bat for Lashes at Latitude.
Or Bat for Lashes in Manchester.
Or Imogen Heap.
Or Blind Guardian.
Or Metallica.
Or Guns N' Roses.
Too difficult a question.
At 3/10/10 08:21 PM, Zodir wrote: Question 1: Do you think a lot of the black metal bands just do the whole Satanism routine for image or not?
Some do. A lot don't and people just lump them in with the ones that do. It pisses me off when bands that I know actually write about Satan or are Satanic or whatever you want to call it are lumped in with shit like CoF because of image and junk.
Question 2: Do you think Metal has sufficiently differentiated from rock as a genre, because the mainstream media always refers to metal as a subgenre of Hard rock?
I dislike when any form of mainstream media referrs to metal in general. Even shit like Dragonforce. I can't stand it. I get so many douchebags that come up to me and my friends and try to be cool because of how we look.
Question 3: What is your favorite concert you have ever beem to?
Local bands. Since a lot of the bands that I like don't come here very often, and when they have something has always come up to keep me from going to see them, I tend to have the most fun when my friend's bands are playing. Even though all they seem to play is like Death/Thrash. I haven't been able to get out recently because I've been busy, though. Which sucks.

This sounds kinda acccurate. However, I shouldn't really be stereotyping.
Question 2: Do you think Metal has sufficiently differentiated from rock as a genre, because the mainstream media always refers to metal as a subgenre of Hard rock?
Yes by far. I've never heard of metal as a "subgenre" of anything, let alone hard rock, but it did evolve from rock. To me, I think, aside from being a genre itself, that it is the highest known level in the rock genres.
Question 3: What is your favorite concert you have ever been to?
I have to confess, but I hardly have any opportunity to go to a rock or metal concert. I would like to go to one especially if there is one within or near North-Central WV.

Certainly. Most people realize that literal devil-worship is fucktarded. Some people don't, though, which is frankly a little funny to me.
Question 2: Do you think Metal has sufficiently differentiated from rock as a genre, because the mainstream media always refers to metal as a subgenre of Hard rock?
Yes.
Question 3: What is your favorite concert you have ever beem to?
I've been to a lot of jazz concerts and more symphonies than I can count, but I've only been to three concerts in the sense that you're thinking of. Animal Collective, the Aquabats!, and Judas Priest. All three were amazing, for different reasons.
Animal Collective was my first, and they're one of my favorite bands, and I went with my best friend. They played a lot of songs I love, and it was overall a good time. The Aquabats! was great because at least 30 friends of mine went, the Aquabats! are always fun, and they played almost all of my favorite songs. I also jumped on stage with my friends, which was excellent. The only downside to that concert was that my ex girlfriend was there, and it was like ten days after we broke up, and we all know that you generally do not want to see your ex for a while after a breakup. Judas was excellent because, well, it was Judas Priest. They played the entirety of British Steel. I went with ten really good friends and it was a shitload of fun. We ate deep fried fair food afterward and saw Ron Jeremy.
Sorry for the essay.

Haha, sweet :). Did you ask to see his dick? I would of.
I like your story time, I'm gonna join in:
Bat for Lashes at Latitude was amazing because, for one, I love her. But while the Manchester date I mentioned had a much better set due to its increased length, the Latitude show was better as I was more drunk and was having a great time at what was the most beautiful and peaceful festival I have ever been to. Plus I had great company in my best friend and this lovely girl we met on the coach and subsequently camped with (along with a few others whom we all bonded with on the 6ish hour journey there). It was also nice having two people both pissed out of their minds and simply relishing the joy that I was seeing one of my most beloved musicians. Cue lots of hair stroking and tapping and smiling. It was a great memory.
Imogen Heap had to be there as it was a fantastic show and performance, but lacking any of the personal merits of the previous gig mentioned. Still, Imogen Heap!
Of the others I have little to say really. Blind Guardian was just a really good show, that isn't a band I've grown weary of and that is Metal; so relevant.
Metallica was also a great show and even despite my lack of enthusiasm for them being just as true then as it is now it was really impressive how none of that mattered if you play all of Master of Puppets. And other stuff.
And Guns N' Roses just cause I was a ridiculous fanboy at the time. The day after Metallica too... thats two good headliners for one festival. Of course, it would of been way better had it been the real Guns N' Roses.
I've enjoyed Dream Theater a few times live too, I suppose I should of included them too. The first and second times I saw them was the best, 2007 or 2008 I think. Since then they've been disappointing, even despite the odd decent song thrown in. But thats just Dream Theater for you, isn't it?
Opeth suffer from the same recent disappointments that make the earlier, fonder memories less fond. They were great the first and second times I saw them. Back in 2006/7.
And finally, festival shows are way better than inside ones. Especially for bigger, headling bands. The open air, dark starry nights really make the stage shows better.

Nah, he was arguing with security guards. He wanted to meet Judas Priest, and he was like "BLAH BLAH BLAH I'M RON JEREMY LET ME MEET THEM." We actually found out about him being there because three of our friends were working as security guards at the fair, so we got a call from one saying "Hey, you wanna see Ron Jeremy?"

For shit and giggles I would say :)

Hell fucking yes!
Question 3: What is your favorite concert you have ever beem to?
I'd say either Symphony X or Abigail Williams
Kalmah was nice... but the sound was horrid...

This man's fat belly is the worst turn off ever...
He's ugly and ever was. I can't see how such an ugly and old man still gets to have sex with beautiful girl... who usually aren't older than me...

Answer? Three words:
His huge dick.

I've only been to one so far and that's seeing Iron Maiden in Twickenham in July 2008. I couldn't have asked for a better present for my 18th birthday. OK, it wasn't exactly on my 18th birthday but it was still an early present and my family kept this quiet until I got tickets the day before.
Still looking forward to seeing Opeth on 5th April and hopefully the show will be just as good as Maiden's.
Just ordered myself one, now I'm going to feel special walking around with this thing on.
Gorgoroth = tits.

My dick is of average size, and I still didn't find a woman I couldn't please.
No matter how big your dick is... if your the ugliest fuck in the world, these girls would rather masturbate with fucking baseball bats instead of getting fucked by this fat monkey.
Plus, Alcest's new album will be coming out at the end of the month !!!!
Can't fucking wait !!!
Plus plus, they are coming to Montreal during April :O
Fucking awesome !!!

Well, clearly not.
Ron Jeremy has probably had his way with more women than all our post counts put together. All thangs to his huge schlong.

All thanks to his celebrity... numbnut...
There is plenty of guys who have bigger dicks then him, but he was around in the porn industry way before all the other guys. Girls today have sex with him because they know it's good for their career.
I really hope you are not of these ass holes who believe that you get more sex because of the size of your cock. Cause seriously, any girl who isn't a big slut will tell you that if you have an average sized dick, it only depends on what you can do with it.
Just think about it. We both use the M4 in CoD, but I use it better then you :)
I get more kills :P, the gun is just a tool, like the dick is :P
And also, ever heard of quality sex? :P
Way to jump to conclusions.
In porn length matters. In real life, of course it doesn't.
Ron Jeremy isn't the only fat porn star. Most of the dudes are ugly.
I don't get any sex in real life :P.
Thanks to my tiny cock...

Duff, you're forgetting that Ron Jeremy only got fat in recent years. He used to be very fit and attractive. And, he has a huge penis.

Which you thankfully cropped out :).
So, lets make a list of all the name changes we could have had over the time of the Metal Hell:
Stoner Hell (Ghoul back in the day, Bill, etc)
Metalcore Hell
Fetish Hell
Porn Hell
etc. Feel free to add to the list.

Have you heard the Les Discrets split? The album is going to sound less like Souvenirs and more like Amesoeurs which is fine for me but it apparently leaked and a lot of people are disappointed.
?

Really?... If it does sound like Amesoeurs I don't think I will buy it. Souvenirs d'un autre monde is the best word Alcest ever released.
I'm still going to give it a try though.
