Well the cost of getting all the band, techies and equipment to another country would be a lot. So unless they could play a certain amount of gigs to cover the costs then they'd be making a loss.
In England you could easily play 6 dates on the trot seeing as all the cities are close and at each one you'd could get a good amount of people through the door.

South America on the otherhand is huge. Travelling would be different there, so I'd assume schedule would be too. And I have no clue about demand.

Metal stuff.

First off I've been getting back into Bloodbath. But I don't really know what genre they are. I know it's deathmetal but what kind? Some of their songs the instruments remind me off black metal, they're a bit to different to be " br00tal" and they're not melodic/ progressive. Also are there any bands that sound like them?

I've heard kataklysm is good? What are they?

I've had this thing where I can't start listening to a band if they have a weird name. Now Usually it's something like " the serial killer rapists" or something stupid like that. But what are some bands that don't sound normal. Like I see you guys talking about some band I can't even pronounce. List some bands and what genres they are.

They're not as "brutal" sounding as other plain death metal bands because they call bands like Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Nile etc. "Brutal Death Metal", as opposed to just Death metal.

Either way, I like them, but I think there are a lot of better death metal bands out there.

Kataklysm is good, but not amazing. They're melodic death metal, as I believe. The main thing that gets me about them is that they're a little towards the mainstream side. I used to like them a lot more until I heard of better melodic death metal bands.

Mors Principium Est - Melodic death metal
Mork Gryning - Black metal
Anal Cunt - Grindcore/Noisegrind (don't get me wrong, they're horrible, but god are they hilarious).

On the other hand, the new album title sounds interesting. The two things that come to mind are a space themed album and the possibility of their final album. I'm hoping that's not so but I can't blame them if they do call it a day after this. My only disappointment right now is Dream Theater only touring with Maiden for North America. They haven't been confirmed for any Europe venues yet but whether they will be in the UK with Maiden or not, me and my sister will want to see Maiden live again, especially after the kickass show at Twickenham in 2008.

Burzum- I like them and surprisingly the vocals aren't that bad.

DarkThrone- Pretty awesome, They're supposed to be black metal? They sound more like death metal to me.

Mayhem- eh getting tired of describing bands already so I'll just say I like them.

Immortal- Awesome.

Emperor- Pretty good.

Carpathian Forest- Don't really like them to much.

Does it have to be Norwegian or just any type of black metal? Although you probably listen to all the black metal bands I listen to.
