Blotted Science are just so different. Spastic Ink and Blotted Science are awesome on so many levels, but not the sames actually :P

But em... Watchtower anyone?

My question is: Which of all of his projects is the best? I already own a copy of Blotted Science's debut and only album. And I have the two albums of Spastic Ink. But what about Watchtower and his solo project?

His Solo Stuff is pretty good. It's more technical shredding type stuff. And Watchtower is pretty good thrash. I have Solitarily Speaking of Theoretical Confinement and both Watchtower albums. Blotted Science and Spastic Ink are better, though.

I'll consider it. I need more black metal to listen to.

Wormwood is meh. It's Marduk. It's nothing special though. I'd still say Rom 5:12 is a lot better. Marduk plays much better music when they play slow.

MirrorThrone bores me, I listened to them about 2 weeks ago. I'll check out the other ones though, thanks man.

Also, going through Vader's album "Impressions in Blood" extremely impressed. Every single song in the this album is so fucking amazing, it puts me in the mood of killing.

Also about the album, what does everyone think of Vader's "Raining Blood" Slayer cover? I think it's the best cover I ever heard in my life.

I'd say that the two guitars pretty much make Kalmah. If it was not for the great combination of the awesome rythms of Pekka with the even more awesome leads of his brother Antti, I don't think the band would be that great.

It is when it comes to fans and stuff.

Tours don't happen much down there and when they do they're usually six times the price we'd pay for them here in the states.

Ya know, like how it is in japan - only there they can afford them.

Stoner Doom. Kind of like Dopesmoker, but with more Eyehategod influence.

I hope you love me ani...
Oh I do.

I knew most of the 20+ minute ones but all the stuff longer than that I had no knowledge of.

Thank you!

I am liking Obituary at the moment, i will also see them live this summer.
This is what death metal should be like, it needs to have groove, instead of that bullshit thats just trying to be as "br00tal" as possible.
And i like how Trevor Peres and John Tardy were both featured on Necro's album "The prefix for death".

Well usually one band comes around every 2 years or so, but the concert is always expensive as hell, as someone said before, and there's never any cool festivals which involve a lot of bands. There was Rock in Rio, but they shitted on that.
The only band that comes around frequently now is Iron Maiden. Which is cool I guess :)

You're not the only one who's missing out on them this year. Me and my sister aren't willing to see them at Download and wished they had a venue just for them and possibly a supporting act or two in the UK.

As for any other concerts, we're still thinking of seeing Blind Guardian in September but my sister doesn't want to make a decision until after seeing Opeth in April, which is just a month away. I'll be wanting this month to done and over with as quickly as possible.

I know the guys from Maiden really have something for Brazil. I really thouht Power Metal bands were often making live performances in South America. At least that's what Tobias Sammet says in Lavatory Love Machine:

Oh if only Brazil was not so far
Far away I would swim or walk or ride
But never ever fly
But all the noise of the maniacs there
The seat on my face it's worth to bear
But I don't wanna bounce and die

But what about bands like Krisiun? I know they are from Brazil. Don't they play more often in South America?

Krisiun? Well I never heard of them really. But the national bands generally do play a lot more.
Yeah, most power metal bands dig Brazil. But they still don't come around that often. Helloween and Gamma ray only came like, in 2007 on their Hellish tour. I think Blind Guardian came around recently, but I didn't hear anything about them.

Krisiun are a Death Metal band. They are kind of good. And dude 2007? That's not nice!
There is probably some shit going on. Something making it hard for bands to get to play there. Maybe it just costs them too much money to get there..
