I assume you were talking about Cryptopsy. What Flo Mounier did with what is left of the band will never shadow the work of all the musicians who are not in the band anymore. You may not see it that way, but these guys are still Quebecers even if they are not in the band anymore.
Also, Quo Vadis were just as great as Cryptopsy if not better. Profugus Mortis and Dark Forest also are very good bands from Quebec. Eidolon and Woods Of Ypress both are very good Canadian bands. And some of the bands you like have canadians musicians in their line-up. Megadeth would be one.
