Who can deny the gayness of Manowar?
They're not gay, they're bisexuals. :P

As for Manowar being the msot cheesy, are you all forgetting about Rhapsody? Am I the only one who has heard Power of The Dragonflame and Holy Thunderforce?
Hey, I'm a fan of their music. Power of the Dragonflame and Holy Thunderforce are some damn good songs. :) I'm still needing to get Legendary Tales and Symphony of Enchanted Lands Part II and I'll be sure to get them sometime before the new album comes out in March.
Im almost embarrassed to show Rhapsody to others, because their immediate reaction before saying they love them is a GIGANTIC facepalm.
More love for Rhapsody is needed.

But the thing is: Rhapsody don't take themselves that seriously, manowar do.
Wait what? I thought Manowar weren't meant to be serious at all.

But they're all rubbish.
I still don't see why most you guys hate power metal.
I obviously like the most well known bands but when it comes to lesser known stuff, there is so much uninspiring stuff that it makes me reluctant to look into more power metal. I'm only wanting to listen to bands that stand out well from others but for now, I feel I have a good amount of bands to listen to. Around 25 artists from that genre alone is good enough for me for the time being. Sure, it may be nothing in comparison to your 1,000+ list of power metal bands you know but quality over quantity for me. :)
And besides, I need to look more into the other sub-genres of metal as some I feel I haven't paid enough attention to (black and doom) or I feel I could do with more artists from a certain category (traditional and thrash).
I felt there latest album was there only one worth getting, there first three albums are so boring - At least with the new one it is very catchy.
I actually think DragonForce's best album is Valley of the Damned and I have no shame in admitting that I still enjoy it.
