Because the mainstream audience that loves one band usually always loves the other.
Why do you care? Both bands suck ass.
Anyway, Municipal Waste last night...
The show cost was only 15 USD!
"Beyond The Line Of Sight" apparently canceled last minute, no problem for me though. (Although two people at the show were reeeeeeeeeeeeally pissed off)
"Cauldron" was the first band to play, the played for 30 minutes and I got to say - Even though their drummer was insane, they were QUITE boring. The bassist was incredibly suckish, the guitarist was very generic and he overdid it way to much with the solos and the singer was a falsetto vocalist(Which makes me think they're power metal, but it's so simple and boring i'd hate to call it that) but I couldn't hear him at all because the mics were being screwie all night.
"Phobia" was a grindcore band(It's the USA one, there's like twenty phobia's) they played for 45 minutes - They played 30 or so songs(All of which are between a minute and 3 minutes long) ALL their songs sounded exactly the same, but maybe that's just grindcore in general... anyway, these guys were surprisingly technical so it was fun to watch. The first ten seconds these guys played and the crowd went BERSERK, like - Toxic Waltz mosh pit berserk.
"Brutal Truth" played for an hour, and I thought they were really boring personally. (The other people in the audience loved it though, so it must've just been me)
Then Municipal Waste also played for around 80 minutes and were AMAZING. Every single person in the audience was either moshing, headbanging like fuck or crowd surfing.
MW said THEMSELVES that we were one of the best crowds they've ever played in front of!
Also, their were LOTS of bare tits on stage when they played Boner City.
I'd like to say that Municipal Waste is now the most INTENSE crowd I have ever seen.
